the best way to do it is to sleep at the same time every day, like 12 or 1 am or earlier if possible and dont nap during the day
also, you dont have to do every hw, ther are assignments taht you can just half-ass
its better to get a good nights sleep and pay attention in class every extra hour of sleep can be very useful
thats why in college, its much easier to have a 11 o clock class, rather than a 9

I guess i should have been clearer. Exercising would help the OP with his problem. Regular exercise gives you the energy to stay awake during the day and not need naps. This would solve his problem of staying up to late and being tired in class.

In high school, I did almost the same thing you are doing, but I slept for like 4 hours, as opposed to a few.
If you really need to stay up, you can try just hanging out with your friends for a couple hours. Once you hit the point where you would normally be waking up again, you'll be less tired and can probably manage without any energy drinks or anything, but they'd certainly help.

just continue to sleep in class, that's what I did my senior year.

The problem is I'm a junior so its important, I think I'm managing my grades though, all A's so far hopefully it will last

its impossible to stay awake if the class is boring anyway.

Maybe it's because, being junior year, you have a ton of homework and you subconsciously convince yourself that you're tired so that you can do your homework later. It's kind of like procrastinating. I do it a lot too. The thing is, if it's something else after school, like going to a friend's house or just watching tv, I suddenly don't have the urge to sleep because what I'm doing awake is interesting. But as soon as I say to myself, "ok, I'll go home, do my homework, then other stuff," suddenly, I'm tried as hell and I can't focus on my homework until after a nap of like 4 hours.
Can't really give any tips since I still have this problem lol. But I think it'll be important to break the cycle of bad habit sleeping after school by forcing yourself to do your homework right after school. Just think of positive things, like how you get to go to sleep earlier, not be sleepy and cranky at school, etc, to get you motivated to do homework asap.
You should probably fix it asap, and like right now, because it can really fuck a lot of things up, like you start staying up every night, and am always tired, you start to forget to do things, and other stuff. It gets worst senior year, with senioritis kicking in and the added pressure of applying to colleges and such, so I recommend to not do what I did, and get your schedule back on track.
P.S: I'm procrastinating right now lol, I should be doing hw but I'm reading TL. T_T

Keep yourself awake until a proper bedtime. If you nap after you get home from school you're doomed.

Don't go to sleep. ez.
What kinda BW player cant stay awake!

I think you gotta try to not fall asleep after you get home from school and try and get on a normal schedule of going to sleep around 11PM or so. I should try following my own advice but my problem is I'll get in bed sometime between 10:30-11:30 P.M. but I can't fall asleep z.z

I had a similar problem a little while ago. Basically, it got to the point where I was going to bed regularly around 6:00am and waking up at 2:00pm or 3:00pm. All I did to correct it was stay up all day and night and then the next night I went to bed at 11:00pm. (which by that time I was exhausted) I set the alarm for 8:00am, made sure I got up and it more or less corrected itself.

Thanks for your alls advice, I would love to play sc during weekdays but I can't cuz my older brother and my mom watching what I do. Thanks for your alls advice, I try to move around but then when I get home I get tired again. I'll try to stay awake after school, I'm doing more after school activities to keep me awake.

I had the same problem as the OP as well... and still do.
If I stay up till 9/10pm then I get a second wind and can't fall asleep until like 2-3am :-/

If you went to bed before mentioned second wind, do you think you would actually fall asleep?

If you're not allowed to play BW during week days and you have trouble staying awake while doing your homework, I'd suggest that you go to the school library or any other library and do your homework there. It's easier to focus on the task at hand and find energy to do it if you're not at home. Because you can't really do anything else but the homework if you're at a library.
Other than that, there are tons of tips already mentioned. The most important one is to avoid that 2-3 hour nap, because it'll always stop you from falling asleep later at night. Just find something that'll keep you moving and interested. Which could be anything since it's pretty individual.
