I ride my bike like mad and do as much weights as I can. Usually try to eat healthy, but I'm not too strict, and I still drink semi-frequently (once every 2 weeks). I guess if I want to lose the next 40 pounds, I have to quit drinking and going out for wings for a while

It's been much harder to get results after the first 40 though I ride my bike like mad and do as much weights as I can. It does have a lot to do with your diet, I believe your diet has more to do with it than anything else actually. I don't like cutting out tons of things from my life, I still wanted to drink when I went out and still had the occasional pizza. So to compensate I just exercised twice as hard, I was walking 2-3km a day and running 5-7km 3-5 times a week. But the slow changes to my diet became normal, and I was no longer craving for that cookie or a slice of pizza when a healthy sandwich and apple would do. And after a while it becomes normal, even at a restaurant to say order your stake with a side of salad instead of potatoes. And to grab a light beer or glass of water instead of a soda (which is something I never drink any more) See if you can cut out one thing a week, and that could even be one less slice of bread a day or a couple less sodas per week. You know, every 3-6 months (depending on how much I enjoy it) I change hobbies. In the past it has gone from graphic design to video games, to golf to photography and the last one has been fitness. I have noticed this has been the most enjoyable for me and probably the one I have been the most proficient at. And to be honest, if I had lost tons of weight in the first few months I probably would have quit by now and be back to my old habits. I stuck with it because I like to see results from my goals, luckily this "hobby" took so long that it has become a lifestyle change and has become a passive part of my life. -- Thanks again everyone, its this sort of encouragement and support that has made this so fun and achievable. And is going to be the fuel required to get to the next level.
