A lot of games struggling would cut their management salary and staff to get the game as complete as possible, eg wayfinder. But the scope is so big, so much not yet done that it wouldn't even matter much.
Why do you say that? SG is a typical AA game (developer size, budget) which goes for additional funding through MTX and content sales which makes AA+ There is nothing Triple A about this.
I also think when the 3v3 mode drops to the wider audience and isn't really really good then that's it. There will be no time to fix anything.
The scope is AAA, which is an issue when they only has AA budget and try to fund the rest with MTX.
Still don't get it. Care to expand on what you mean and for what reasons? Scope of what? Target audience? Content? Paychecks?
Scope of the game. Full scale campaign, editor, eSports, PvE, PvP etc. Most competitive games only have one to two-ish game mode and very few has campaign

As someone who can legitimately say ‘been there, don’t that’ I somewhat suspected that was the case.
Welcome back, hope you’re doing better!
Hey thanks!
I've gotten a lot better now, it's just one of those I have to live as a bi-polar.

Yeah bipolar is a bit of a cunt, feel you there!
Regardless, glad to hear it, and hey if you’re worried you’re swinging in the wrong direction feel free to send me a PM on here
If Artosis would safe something, Foreigner Brood War would have thousands of viewer. Artosis does content, nothing else
What are you talking about?
BW isn’t that popular because it’s a fucking ballache to play, it’s not not especially complicated.
I love the game but there’s a reason other games gained more tradition.
Could you tear my post any more out of context? I wasnt even talking about PLAYING the game. The moment Artosis ends his stream, his entire viewership leaves the brood war section, none of them stick. Brood War dabbles around 30 viewer, unless some name is streaming.
His audience wants to see him "reacting". And thats it.
Right, that makes more sense, your previous post was confusingly worded

I love blind StimPack timing pushes in SC2! Who needs to get a buzz off of fentanyl or heroine when you can blind stim up ramps against Protoss with no Medivac!
Watching a few of the 1v1 games without creeps was very interesting. While I never been a fan of creeps because I think it takes away from player-vs-player interactions, I don't think I fully realized just how bad it was. I think if stormgate had balanced and designed the game without creeps in the first game, we would be at a completely different place by now. Yes sound and graphics still shit. Yes campaign still shit, but it could have conquered a much larger percentage of the Sc2 playerbase. And perhaps would have been able to show just good enough numbers to ask for further VC investments.

Yeah, I feel they are going back in time with this one. WC3 had Heroes and was a dedicated RTS/RPG hybrid. I never bothered with 1v1, though, as I was asked to do too much at once and the game kept me from making a big army. It has already been figured out a long time ago that creeps fit well in MOBAs, but keeping creeps and removing Heroes in a RTS just feels... weird.
I've played a couple of coop games during the last two weeks. The musik is nice. I liked in grey goo too.
For a level 1-3 player the coop missions are refreshing. Probably the missions get steam rolled by players pretty early. I like the moba map somehow, despite i never play mobas. :D
Competetive isn`t my cup of tea for now. I barley know of couple of basic units lol. The command bar is like non existent to me :D
The loop in the backround triggers me tho. That hard reset from it gets me everytime. no offens, just a minor.
Hi guys I am a random American who is in Korea for this stormgate invitational timeframe and i’m having trouble finding more information about this, perhaps somebody here can tell me:
can i buy a ticket to watch this event live? I can’t seem to find a studio address or anything.

The official page doesn't say anything about live audience, so it might be a closed door event?
