This will probably handle Crysis... Ofc it will handle SC2

There's been word going around that the Geforce 8 cards are defective. I'd try to find one with an ATI card

you MIGHT find something the same with cheaper price, but even then, not by much. Its a good price tho.

Apparently theres a Dell 3 day event sale thing going on until tomorrow saving $609, but I'm pretty sure companies have these events pretty often to don't feel to compelled to buy it, but definetly want one by the start of the new school year.

Nice price did you add the coupon? 8600GT 4 gigs of ram and T8300 if that doesn't handle sc2 i fear the game will never sell
I would also suggest you get the intel wifi it's alot more powerful make your laptop last longer. (although if your techy like me you'll just buy a kinda stiped laptop with a good battery and graphics card and rip out the crappy cpu ram add wifi bluetooth better cpu and ram.

Yeah dell coupons you use them on all the basic configures usually the one with no instant savings saves you the most
Dell coupon is such a good thing but dell has ways of jipping you out of better savings --- Tuxedo Black Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache) Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1 High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1440x900) & 2MP Camera 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms) Speed: 160GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive Free Fall Sensor Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write) 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card 56 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery High Definition Audio 2.0 Finger Print Reader XPS M1530 My Software & Accessories McAfee SecurityCenter with anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, 24-months Special Offer:Microsoft® Office Home and Student 2007 Built NY 15.4" Laptop Sleeve Jet Black ---- Its after my corrections it will be. $1,309.60 well i guess 50 bucks is 50 bucks
SPEND IT ON NEXT DAY SHIPPING HOPE YOU DON'T GET DHL, DHL BLOWS!
Lol well that because you went cheep on the computer you can usually get a few hundred by going for more
It also not exactly the same i couldn't hit the option of 320hd so i did 160 one at 7200rpm. because the 320 one is 50 + to a 250hd and so its 100 bucks and 160 one is +75
-- edit: opps didn't throw in the extra software and bag let me just redo it sorry lol --
Just choose xps 1530 then go to the cheapest one (not red product) with no instant saving.
Really dell is bull shit in instant savings saves really little compared to without usually. Also has jack on coupons.
Unlucky i guess my friend order his xps like a month ago with 30% coupon lol hella better then 20%

Thanks!
Don't really think the hard drive is a big deal, it probably won't have any effect on what I plan to use it for.

Izzy actually with tax and everything it comes out to $1495 for the deal without the coupon the one I tried to originally do. I'm trying yours right now to see what the grand total would be.

Actually I do end up saving about $90 with your deal, the only difference is the hard drive and I get a three year warranty with my deal. Which one would you consider?
Hard Drive: Size: 160GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive Free Fall Sensor + Warranty & Service 1Yr Ltd HW WRTY, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis, 24x7 Phone Support
$1317.60
or
Hard Drive: Size: 320GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive + Warranty & Service 3Yr Ltd HW WRTY, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis, 24x7 Phone Support
$1397.00

Well go with you feel like. Do you feel like everything eletroic breaks then i would go with the inhome service lol else sweet 90 bucks get better shipping DHL sucks my friend had to pick up his xps becuase they kept on "getting him when he was out" for like 2 weeks then he just went to pick it up lol.
You know its weird i see that story but like i don't see many fourms saying my gpu died form those rumors to me it's nothing more then rumors, really where the hell is this problem if i don't see it on fourms if its not all over fourms then it's porably stupid people who happen to have nvidia cards (becuase they make up most of the market) breaking their shit in record numbers.
Anyways in terms of performance 8600gt>3450 by quite a bit

It happened to my friend a couple of months ago so the defective 8600 chips has some basis, at least.
I suggest you wait for the new refresh of the 15.4 inch XPS line if you want to buy from Dell. It's gotta happen within the next month or two.
I also throw in a vote for Sager laptops. The Sager NP2096 I bought just a week ago performs wonderfully. It's better than XPS imo. Both the XPS 1530M and the Sager NP2096 will have no problems running SC2 though.
