If you are among the people that signed up AFTER the deadline (September 19th), please try to come EARLY (11-11:30) so you can have the best chance at getting yourself a spot.
Please read:
-Please come earlier. Even if you were one of the first registrations, you need to come earlier. Please come between 11-11:30am.
-Peak time at this Cafe is around 1pm and onward. We want to try and essentially, "reserve" as many computers as we can in the morning. This way, we're good to go for the rest of the day and avoid any pitfall of people not having computers and that sort of thing. To clarify, this still won’t mean everyone who signed up will get in. However, starting early like this increases those chances a lot.
-What else does this mean? We will be starting the tournament earlier than 1pm which was originally stated. Likely, we will try to start the tournament between 12:15-12:30pm. So we want everyone to come about an hour earlier for check-in/reserve computers.
-For those that came for the first LAN, you will recall, that there is a 20$ payment to "buy" time on the computers. It's about 6-7 hours for 20 dollars. It wasn't much of an issue last time. A few people did have to re-buy some time for the last hour, but they refund you for unused hours.
-Lastly, *** Buy-In = $10 ***, if you will be actually participating in the tournament. If you're just coming to hang out and play casually, you don't need to do this. These buy-ins contribute to the total prize pool on top, so it's really just a "mandatory" donation, if you think about it.
So this is a VERY important announcement. See you all there.

I forgot BSL is this weekend so I won't be going. Maybe next time!

99% chance I can't make this. Remove me from waitlist/bbq. Sad I won't get to see everyone again and gl to everyone playing.

suggestion: i think those who donated money(over $10.00) should be waived for $10.00 "member fee" cuz they should be considered as "shareholders"

Interesting suggestion. Makes sense, and there's a few folks who donated and will also be playing too.
It's pretty much an extra 10$ donation they'd have to give to enter, when in fact, they've already donated 50$+ or whatever. I see your point. There would have to be a minimum donation though; like you can't donate 10$ and get the waiver.
Perhaps this time we won't change it, but next time likely we can do something. I will talk to Tim and figure out something that makes sense.

Can I play in this? I really want to. yes you can

Yes, I know we are all a buncha normie dudes who aren't keen on photographing but it's worth it in the end. Less random side shots of some darkened silhouette playing on the computer and more of staged group or solo shots with, you know, smiles?

Hello everyone, just wanted to make an announcement that I will NOT be able to attend due to some personal obligations.
Everyone will be in very good hands with USA's favorite Protoss, Tim, who is more than capable of running it. And I believe some of the participants will also lend a helping hand on administrative tasks / casting / etc.
Be nice to Tim, show up on time (11am ET), offer some help on something as basic as bracket administration (or whatever Tim might need help with), and make things generally easy for him when you can
Good luck to all and have fun.
And a massive thank you to Tim.

I should be there around 9:30 or 10 if anyone wants to practice.
