This is a very small patch. Also can anyone tell me if the Sol changes are good, 3s W seems garbage, also doesn't address any of his weaknesses (he's a sitting duck for the army of meta super mobile, hard CC champions)

Moved him from a unique DPS mage to a shitty burst mage.

how is his new w garbage? at max level he can have his w spread out with 0 downtime and for less mana than previously, but now he has the bonus of having a 40% ms boost literally every 3 seconds. its actually a pretty good change, it solves his mobility problems in fights by giving him constant phase rushes. i dont see why they had to nerf his damage but overall i think its a buff to sol.

It's just OTPs being anoyed by change. He feels a bit clunky early but a lot more smooth to play now after you've gotten some points into W, the MS boost once you get the CD low is amazing.

When I first heard about the changes I hated them but now that I’ve had time to think it over I think they accomplish what I would presume is Riot’s goals in the most eloquent way I can think of.
1)We want to significantly nerf his level 1-3 without removing his chance to defend himself or lane 2)We think buffing his lvl9+ archetype is good/healthy for the meta, but we don’t want his op 1-5 back
The more I think about it all solutions not involving a cd just make him a free kill before lvl6. Now I know the asol main question here is, why not just let his old lvl 1-5 be a thing? And personally I’m down, but clearly Riot doesn’t feel like that’s an option just like reverting LeBlanc was cool but reverting Fizz is not possible

Anyone knows why for the last 3-4 months I cannot win or lose more than 16lp, usually 15 or 14. Arent 19-20 the norm when your rank and mmr are more or less matching and when you have 14-15 gains or loses the other one should go higher?

What rank are you? Seems common in diamond 3+ Due to the fucky shit that Riot did at the start of the year with moving everyone up a division or two and then resetting the top ranks it's gotten a bit funky.

Watching Aatrox, Akali, Irelia, Kaisa, and Sylas is getting boring, but I don't want to complain about those champs too loud because I'm worried the deserved nerfs will replace them with things as exciting as Corki mid or shield stacking comps.

Akali is just disgustingly broken, you should watch Nemesis stream where he won't stop with the sarcastic remarks everytime he stomps the entire game. She's in the same spot where Yasuo is, potential to outplay pretty much everything if you do the right thing at the right time, except she's also a solid pick in the current meta. Sylas as well, but I moaned enough when he came out. Aatrox can't decide if he wants to be trash or overtuned, at this point I think if they removed one of his 'core' aspects (mega healing, combo chain, ultimate) he'd become a troll pick, but adjusting his numbers does absolutely nothing.

That's the problem with most of the new champs/reworks.
Having so many unconditional dashes just gives Akali ways to handle basically any situation.
They're more exciting, but there's literally no reason to play older champs if the newer ones do the same damage(more in a lot of cases), with better lane matchups and fewer counterpicks.

Kai'Sa is sorta whatever, how interesting I find botlane is almost entirely based on the support. I really miss the TP/Smite and actually also the stupid things like bruiser Fizz/Ekko + Poppy prime top meta where the champs just wanted to brawl and legit looked like they were trolling around in teamfights. Give me back release juggernaut Darius and Fiora too.
My only issue with Aatrox and Irelia is how stupid their itemization is since they can get so many defensive stats without any loss of damage. Assassin level burst and extremely high DPS yet they are as tanky if not more-so than actual tanks. Seriously?

It's mostly the healing (and dmg reduction for irelia) in their kits that make them both so powerful, so lifesteal, and/or any form of sustain (sterak's gage) just makes them impossible to kill whereas tanks don't really 'outtank' them until maybe 5 or 6 items, and then the problem is even though they can tank all the dmg in the world they do absolutely no dmg

The “pro nerf, soloq positive” Akali changes were a mistake, I get that the intention was to buff me specifically but I got so much better at Akali overnight it’s actually kinda disgusting

He still does a load of damage, Ziggs is also insane. But mobility is king and it gets worse every season, tbh if Brand hits his abilities then its because his opponent is just bad or didn't draft a meta pick.

Honestly I think Ziggs could be meta if they reverted the Q hit box nerf from several years ago. Q explosion and Q detonation used to be s the same size, but they nerfed the hit box for detonating the bomb before it’s final location in like season 4 and it makes harassing basically impossible if your opponent is not awful or not standing in the wave.
But yea he and Brand definitely do more damage than Akali if your opponent is stunned

Noway picked Ziggs for fun, and thought he wass terrible until he started building AP and his ultimate almost one shotted a Sona. His whole combo can kill a squishy twice over, good example of why numbers don't really matter in League, it's all about the utility.
But I'm happy he's not meta, old Ziggs was awful because he could stall forever while also had some of the best siege in the game. He might actually be viable simply because left alone he can take plates fairly easily, and snowball it from there, so long as he doesn't get camped.

I remember Brand poking you down by pressing E on you whenever it was off cooldown and there was nothing you could do about it since it had such a long range. Good times.

With the new baron buff to minions I actually dont think Ziggs would be that bad in modern League. Wouldn't mind him returning, watching a Ziggs destroy an entire team with his ultimate and AoE when they try to baron is always fun.
