Hello my fellow Teamliquidians!!
How have you all been?
Things in my world are a mix of some good some bad, and a mix haha!

Son: Hes in 5th grade 11 yrs old. Got him into Magic, and played in some draft and pre release parties for Dominaria! Playing tons of Fortnite.. We are dealing with the school closure here. So not only has he been out I have as well. (I work super part time 3 hours a day at his Elementary school though this is my last year) We also finally got all the core 5th edition DnD books and have been trying to make time for playing some. We did join a group at a local game store but more and more teens were coming in and oggiling the other teens of the opposite sex.. my son and his friend were not impressed with them haha. ![[image loading]](https://i.imgur.com/SsUumV6.jpg)
Daughter: Shes turning 19 on Sat. May 5th. Finishing up her freshman year at UofA. Shes continued with roller derby (since she was 10) and is skating with 2 women's teams and coaches the Jr.s. She left this morning to skate with her Dv. 2 team the Tucson SaddleTramps at the Big-O tourney in Oregon. She continues to work at the Zoo. And be an amazing and frustrating young woman.
Wife: Shes doing good. Loads of runs, hikes, marathons etc. She continues to teach here at the UofA and just got a fellowship!!! So Ive been calling her a "fine Fellow" a bunch... Shes always on some committee or having meetings and it changes every semester so I can never keep up with what shes doing at work haha.

Myself: Been doing ok. I struggle at times...I usually have a bad stretch once or twice a year usually, triggered by family.... Balloons are frustrating at times I have such skill and promise and I think a lack of follow through and working on the things I know I should have, has kinda stagnated myself and the balloons. I also really want to make more permanent art. I love and will continue with balloons but id love to turn some of my designs into vinyl toys etc. Been playing a bit too much Clash Royale (Go team Twitch!!) And a bit of Battle Bay as well..ahhah. Really enjoy getting back into Magic with my son. Though it still is a bitter sweet game for me as many might know I started back in Alpha, around 2002 all my cards were stolen from my car (by all I mean all my play decks, sideboards and trade able/showoff stuff) I stopped playing the game when that happened.
Balloon stuff:
Been doing a bit of travel with the balloons. Lake Tahoe and Reno the last couple new years I have been out helping Sean (hes the guy that I bring in on ESL events the last 3-4 we have done together) Ill be heading out there part of June and July. Sean just had a spot on The Talk where he made Patty from NCIS. here is a pic of that and Sean with Patty!

Ill be in West Virginia, Charleston making a huge sculpture in the mall there June 17th-26th. Another curly mustached man is bringing me out to be a part of his team Dizzy Doc is what he goes by!
Would really like to put in some work into making balloons and gaming more of a thing. And as the kids are getting older I have been thinking more and more of traveling gypsy style with the balloons for a bit. trying to convince the wife its something that can happen...
As always ask away Ill try to respond as best and honestly as I can!!
Some balloons! .... I have not been taking as many photos or sharing much of my work lately...A few people in the balloon community like to take designs and sell them as their own...Ive got a few designs that some have thought ok to appropriate, teach and put into their own book. haha Fun times. So sharing at large is not something Ive been doing with most of my current work. sorry if any of these are repeats of ones you might have seen already.

Thank you!! Belive it or not most peoples main troubles are tying and inflating balloons. Once you have that you can learn all the other stuff if your wanting to put in the time as with all things!

My daughter is playing with the Tucson SaddleTramps a D2 National rollerderby team.
Playing this weekend at the Big O tourney in Oregon.
Won first three games one more to go.
Wins vs
Seattle's Jet City
Vancouver's Terminal City
Berlin's Bear city roller derby
Playing vs. Sacramento today.!!
Edit: Lost the game vs. Sacramento a good game though!

I personally believe that it is a curse of creative people to never be in a stable state, rather permanent highs and lows.
But in my opinion that's where the source of creative energy comes from - transitions from good to bad and bad to good.
So the choice is non-creative and stable or creative and non-stable.

Your art is incredible. I have only seen small stuff done before like at Applebees' and stuff, I can't believe how complex it can be! Great moustache too.
I'll be looking forward to that mall sculpture this summer!

My wife had a reason... Not sure if it was to match the Stranger Things letters or she just messed up but it was for a stranger things season 2 party my son had a bunch of friends over we watched half the episodes that night and finished the 4 or so episodes left the next morning. haha
