And now that you mention it, this is why LBJ's legacy as one of the greatest is tarnished. He is a diva with a posse of asskissers who do everything to protect his corporate image. Having said that, LBJ can do whatever he wants and Gilbert can do the same, they deserve each other. Being a diva with a posse of asskissers should make him the perfect candidate to succeed Jordan

Jordan punched Kerr, bruised with Wellington, fought with almost the entire pre-1990s Bulls roster, battled with Magic for NBA Olympic supremacy, and all those nasty things... but please tell us when did Jordan act a diva for his brand's sake and not out of the killer instinct to win win the championship? Name one.

u could blame the org for allowing him this much power, but lebron has all the leverage and theres nothing the cavs can do about that. i think any other team thats not spurs/warriors/houston would sign lebron even if u have to give him all this power over the roster etc.

MLSE is pretty much married to Ujiri and Casey. Those guys are basically god.

I appreciate players taking control over their financial and career decisions, in contrast to the 70s 80s and 90s era when players were nothing but pure workers for the owners. But there must be a balance to this. Players' interest and well-being do not always align with the teams' and the league's. These guys earn millions (players and owners alike). There's just too much greed and ego getting in the way of good basketball spectatorship for the fans. Oh actually I take that back, maybe the Cavs are good soap opera tv for now.

The problem is they got destroyed by Detroit when the Pistons roster was depleted due to the Griffin trade. Minnesota destroyed them without 2 rotation players and 1 starter. Toronto destroyed them without 2 starters in their lineup. The Spurs smashed the Cavs with half their team hurt. and everyone's favourite defensive juggernaut ,Orlando, just held the Cavs to 31 points in the 2nd half. All this stuff is way more ominous than giving up 120 to the Rockets. If Philly wins tonight the Cavs are only 3.5 games ahead of the 8th place team.

Johnson's full quote: "With his ball-handling skills and his passing ability. He plays above the rim I never could do that. But in his understanding of the game, his basketball IQ, his creativity of shots for his teammates. That's where we [have the] same thing. Can bring it down, make a pass, make a play. I'm just happy he's starting in the All-Star game because he deserves that. And he's going to be like an MVP, a champion, this dude he's going to put Milwaukee on the map. And I think he's going to bring them a championship one day." Per NBA rules, any talk about a player on another team outside of press conferences and interviews before, during, and after the games against the team of the player in question constitutes a fine. Recruiting attempt: $500k (like PG), non-recruiting attempt: $50k (like this one).
