MSL Group F
With Light, sAviOr, and Firebathero stuffed in the same group [fantasy is there as cannon fodder], this gathering - especially the sAviOr vs. Firebathero match - was one of the most anticipated nights of the MSL ro32.

What can I say? Fantasy just got outclassed. His proxy factories were cute, and did a good amount of damage, but Light's calm under pressure and superb wraith decision-making won him the game. The early game marine vs vulture micro was quite excellent.
After the goliaths failed to kill Light, the game was over. Well done by Light, especially since he was playing with a severe stomachache. Sickness Terran fighting!

To no-one's surprise, sAviOr was mauled. Terribly. The Maestro looked more like a 2-bit piano newbie attempting "chopsticks" for the first time, running about aimlessly and losing expansions and units carelessly. Firebathero simply walks over the ex-Bonjwa to take the win.
This was a terribly depressing game to watch. sAviOr demonstrated zero drive to win.

Cute build from Light, who probably wanted to go to the hospital by ending the game early. Sort of a pseudo-fake 14cc into fac / port rush. Unfortunately for Jaeho, BraQ played very defensively and was able to weather the storm with relative ease.
From then on, Seungeun parlayed his economic lead into a military one to take the set. Firebathero with the easy [and dare I say deserved?] 2-0 to advance into the ro16.

There are some long games that are tense and epic, with both players competing at a near-incomprehensibly high level. These matches: sAviOr vs Iris game 5, Arkanoid; GoRush vs Nal_rA, Neo Forte; Reach vs ChOJJa, Rush Hour; they are the ones that make us watch progaming.
Then there are the long games that put you to sleep. I dozed off at several points during this game, it was just so inane. The Korean community has a term for matches such as these, where both players deserve to lose, "OME", for "Oh! My Eyes!"

This game pained me to watch as well. Light played quite solidly, and when you take his terrible bowel pains into consideration, his performance is indeed respectable.
I wish I could say the same about sAviOr. His choices with the mutaling army, neither defending his expo nor countering well, made me weep for the lost force of the Maestro. Before the mutaling army went into the nat, I was silently screaming "No!", soon after the pools of zerg blood confirmed my fears.
The rest of the game was a mere formality. Light's a good player. sAviOr is not.

FBH was the best player that day. I think Light is still stronger, overall, though we'll have to wait to see. Light is still the Man of Ro32, as, until facing fbh, he had never lost a game in ro32 ever.
On the other hand, sAviOr finds himself at Gethsemane. His fans and antis alike wait with bated breath to see what happens next.
Fantasy? Nobody cares. You beat Nal_rA in ProLeague. GTFO. Looking forward to the Ro16! KayTep fighting~
Love and luck,
