Yeah, that used to work for me. Now it won't work if I select w-mode at all. I also uninstalled my iccup launcher and then re-installed it. Same thing happens with Chaoslauncher, so I think it has to do with my software.
I'm running Windows 7, too

And no, don't say change OS.
Assuming you're using a legit CD key. Use the battle.net download version instead of the version that came with the CD. I did this and it allowed my BW to work. Could also try the iccup dl version.

Just remembered I'm using DDraw fix which does not work on BNET T_T

Two questions:
1- How to stop the adware in the wDetector?
2- How well does StarCraft run on a Windows XP VMware?

Why don't protoss players ever steal the gas in ZvP when zerg opens with overpool (especially if he only builds 2 lings, with 4 lings he can cancel it before the assimilator finishes but only if he starts attacking it as soon as you warp it in)? You can cancel the assimilator right before it finishes essentially delaying the zerg's gas by 30-35 seconds.
This will delay the zerg's gas significantly giving either free reign to your corsair or force the zerg to go for early hydralisks. There will also be no early threat of mutalisks with all the advantages that this entails.

then just immediately plant my gas at the nat, which will finish a few seconds after the nat finishes. thanks for the free 100 min handicap!
spending 100 min to delay his tech 5s when you can delay his nat hatch (and even the 3rd) with pylon instead? not to mention you say it like its zero cost for protoss. top kek

yeah protoss cant really afford to spend 100 minerals on an assimilator hes not going to use at that stage of the game. early pvz requires the toss to be very efficient and quick with his money spending. and also what probemicro said. its more effective to just pylon block an entire nat than to delay gas for a bit

Yeah sorry you are clueless.
1. Protoss "waste" 100 minerals every time they block a hatchery with a pylon. So you equating it with a significant handicap is false. 2. A non delayed natural hatch finishes at 3.25 which would mean you would start gathering gas around 30 seconds later as I said. 3. Terrans already steal gas vs a 12 hatch where it arguably is pointless since that hatchery does finish on time for it to pose no problem at all. 4. You'd steal the gas right before the drone morphs into the extractor, even further delaying his gas mining. Since he'll have to react to it and send the drone to the natural. (5. Most korean protosses open with 1 gate which has plenty of minerals to spend at this time. This one depends on the zerg's reaction. I see effort practically always forgoing lair for hydras against this opening)
So at least you've got your meme talk down. Too bad I didn't ask C- Pajeet, that's been playing this game for a decade already, for any advice.

1) pylon blocking and gas stealing are not equivalent. one impedes the entire economy (including tech) while the other only impedes tech. which is better i wonder hmmm
2) time difference of -normally planting the gas at main -seeing the gas stolen and immediately taking a drone to the nat and plant the gas
is only ~13-15s, not the outrageous 30+s you suggest. toss also slightly delays their nexus and their entire tech just for this.
3) what has terran got to do with zvp?
4) like the zerg don't see that your probe is conveniently moving towards gas? and there are lings chasing, you won't be always be there on time to stop it. i watch piano a lot, he likes to do this shit but he isn't always successful.
5) by that stage you should not be banking minerals on 1 gate either, you should be getting the nexus and forge+cannon up too...unless you want to lose to a counter ling all-in
whose pajeet? blindrawr's cousin?
if you want to ignore the superior pylon block and go for the cool gas steal, then go right ahead since anything works at the lower levels of iccup anyway lol

I'm all down for details.
1) Pylon blocking natural doesn't delay tech since it doesn't delay gas timing.
I barely ever get pylon blocked on ladder since I hide a drone anyway. But if the probe gets to my main before this is possible, I preclude him from delaying my 2nd hatch by sending out two drones anyway. One to my natural, one to close third.
2) I just told you a natural hatch that hasn't been blocked finishes at 3.20 at the earliest. Normally you want to start mining at 3.05 at the latest (which already means losing 1 overlord to corsair).
He'd also have to send out 3 drones to start mining as soon as it the extractor at the natural would finish.
It's very very easy to lose a few seconds here and a few seconds there in these type of situations. And the entire point of it is to surprise the zerg by warping in the assimilator right as the drone wants to morph into the extractor.
Having to send 3 drones to your natural (15 sec of mining time for 3 drones is 0.75min*72 minerals/min = 52 minerals lost. It will also be really easy to disrupt the mining of gas with aggressive zealots.
3) It gives precedence to the situation of blocking zerg from mining gas. Any delay on mutas is a godsend for terran.
4) Where did I say this should be an obligation?
At this time, the probe is often in the main anyway. And no, zergs wouldn't expect this at all. The animation to morph an extractor is also slow as hell which is why it's possible in the first place.
5) In a 1 gate build, nexus is placed around 2:50. So yeah you'd delay your nexus by a couple of seconds but not your forge since you cancel the assimilator before you'd build that anyway.
Anyway your reaction rubbed me the wrong way because I asked a question as to why I've never ever seen a protoss do something like this (when it can definitely catch a zerg off guard and even force him to take another tech path which can be exploited). I didn't assert that this is some godlike new trick with only benefits that no protoss has ever thought about before.
I'm not going to use this trick, since I don't play protoss.
edit: finally, you don't seem to understand that pylong blocking and the gas block occur at different times. Doing one doesn't preclude you from doing the other in any way.

I'm a C- Pajeet and I've stolen both of Zerg gas before, on FS and BGH. Results were mixed loool

+ Show Spoiler +but seriously, I read that **** just made Trump's poll ratings go up... unsurprisingly, the British campaigners' reaction seems way classier (so far that is)

yoyo guys, short question When I play PvT I usally get a fast 3rd and try to tech + macro then I surround the bridge (on FS by the way) and deny him to get a 4th while I establish my 4th and 5th. But my problem is that he just macro's up to 180-200 pushes out and even with a good surround I just cant stop him from slowly creeping his tanks in my direction . After that he slowly sieges to my 3rd and then Im done.
Is there anything else that I can do to stress him? Because I have the feeling that harass doesnt work against a good foritfyd terran. So I just have to wait until he pushes out which feels odd.
Thanks.

if you tech up fine and get enough additional gates at your fourth (new main) you should be good. Make sure to have enough Arbiters for Stasis and some HT (in shuttle) for STorm. Giving the P's superior ability to reproduce, you'll be able to repel him with the second or third wave. Try to keep gas units alive and trade mainly zeal and some goon. If the terran doesn't have enough turrets, you can try to make a good recall happen.
I know this are basic tips, but it should work for the most part.

You should be maxing and have arbiters before the 180-200 supply push. Use your extra money to make gates. Stay on top of your attack upgrades. You can try to do storm drops if you have the gas/time. I'm not sure if this is standard but I find going 2 Stargate arbiters helps a lot with push breaking and with having recall options.
