Hi guys,
as a little Christmas present, I wanted to create a little comic for a great person I know.
I was thinking of a one-page story, making them into a super hero, because they volunteer a lot.
Problem is, I can't fucking draw at all. I didn't know how bad I was until I tried this.
Can anyone recommend crash courses for doodling, especially focused on comics?
I don't have the talent or ambition to become the next Glider, just something that'll equip me to be proficient enough to do this comic quickly.

I can't even do that. And XKCD makes up for it by being exceedingly witty and clever, no traits I possess.

What kind of info do you need?
Can you show me anything you might have drawn?

I can try to give you some tips on the story or composition itself if I have some kind of script or storyboard for reference.

On the other hand, he spot on..without more info, how can he help?
My advice? Just take a picture of said great dude and try to find what stands out, what defines his silhouette, his face/pose.
Tell us what he does, what he likes, what you want him to see when he will see himself in your drawing.. etc.
