"Hello European Water Horses, new info for the match vs. FourTwo Gaming has been entered. Head over to the site to review and confirm the info: http://play.eslgaming.com/counterstrike/csgo/csgo/open/league/winter-2015/matchsetup/31814357/" Basically it says we won 2-0 against a team we should face on the 22/09/15 Did they forfeit or something? It's not very clear...

Usually if a match is done it gets highlighted by background colour in the list of results tab but the one that got forfeit is not. Also I can't open ArtyK's link due to not having permission so I don't know if there is some more important information. Seems we got an auto-win, why not.

Well there we got an explanation. Guess I could be a dick about it and just accept the result, but we don't want our first win to be build on a lie, right? :D

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. The issue is that faceIT is free so people can do a LOT of bs that you wouldn't get away with on MM because of overwatch (hacking but also mainly trolling/griefing). But then sometimes you get decent people and it's alright!

I've only had good experiences, played with people that proclaims that they are LEM but I dunno, they were pretty terrible.

EDIT: To say something actually relevant: in my experience faceit takes a long ass time to place your skill level properly, i was stuck with 16-5 wins and shit for like 10 games straight

I like good servers is why General skill level is pretty irrelevant I think. You'll never face Silver/Low novas, from my experience, and that's pretty much all... I generally find that the less I care about the ranks/think in terms of skill level, the better I play, so... :D

I like good servers is why I don't really understand how their hidden mmr works but the first few games I played were against silver-novas and I could almost get 50kills, then it got tougher pretty quick and after 7-8 games I was already facing some globals. I'm still lvl3 on faceit but I face globals/supremes all the time (although not full teams of globals, sometimes the random mg guy gets into the game and has a terrible time there :D). I don't think you will have any problem playing there tho, the skill level needed is pretty low because there is a hidden mmr and I guess it keeps tracks of how well you do. The major pain about faceit is to actually get into a game and that the other team does not surrender after the third round or something.
