The wars of Team Germany weren't really related to this event in a special way. We are going to keep up fun wars everytime we have the opportunity and as long as any team likes to play us.
I'll also probably don't organize much for the actual play days, due to interferences with another rl hobby of mine on sundays. It'd be therefore a good idea to add ips.kab as co-organizer, he has the experience, the knowledge, the technology, the eloquence, the mojo and all required ingredients to lead our glorious team to victory, to master any obstacle and to entertain the masses. All hail Edmund "ips.kab" Stoiber!

Removed shout out, added disclaimer. Is it to your satisfaction Sir?
How will lineups bet set, just give them to you the day of the match?
"The optimal 2v2 map will be prioritized to the 2v2 match before the shuffle begins." If there are multiple 4 player maps each week, how do you pick the "optimal" one?
USA still looking for preseason match, captains PM me.

Probably the most standard 4 player map. I'm not the most knowledgeable player, so input is welcomed.

but cele said it was in preparation for the nationwars,so it is obvious that this event influyed to the friendly match happen. btw it was a very nice idea, great friendly nation war,if this event is close to that this will turn great.
true. For me, this funwar was a nice thing to give our players some practice and get hyped for the eNW's. Whether or not Eywa lists it as offical or promotional event doesn't really bother me, that's just semantics (;

Well, I did list it as an affiliated event while also stating that I didn't organize it just so that we could give credit where credit is due, however, that unfortunately seemed to have caused a problem... I'm not sure why.

Hungary will probably get a few more... Plus there are still players in Europe that don't have teams that they can pick up if they can't field a full line up every week. If they're dedicated enough though, they have the correct amount of players to run a CW.

Quarter-Finals 1 Week The top 2 teams from each group qualify for the quarter finals.
Yes, it is updated. The two teams with the best stats get seeded into the semi-final.
thinking about it, i'm less and less sure, this is a good solution. Obviously the call is up to you, but let me elaborate my argument first: Let's assume for the sake of the Argument, 1) Peru and 2) Canada in Group A, 1) Poland and 2) Euopeean Fusion Group B and 1) Russia 2)Hungary Group C. Peru, Canada, Poland and Russia qualifiy, Canada because it has the best Match score of all 2nd placed. (This scenario is given as an example, i do not necessarily think it will turn out this way)
Now, Cada in this example might qualify because it has the best match score off all second placed teams, but it doesn't tell us if Canada is better than European Fusion (2nd in Group B) or Hungary (second in Group C). If you let only 1 of the 3 2nd placed teams advance, you necessarily need to compare their results against each other, while they played different opponents, in groups that might be quite different from each in terms of level of play.
That makes only sense if Group A, B and C are roughly equal, but that might not be the case.
In short, i would suggest to alter the system like this
a) Let all first placed advance, place all 2nd in a Playoff Group, Round Robin with potential Tiebreakers, only 1 advances.
b) Put all 1st and 2nd places in Playoff Group, Round Robin, 1-4 advance.
Just a suggestion on my part, let me know what you think.
