WARNING: small sample size stats
EDIT: as always, thanks to datdota.com!!!
Just a quick look at some numbers that the day 0 left us! If possible I would like to do this in a daily basis!
Considering today we only had wildcard matches, a total of 13, this was simple. I posted this in "blogs" since I didn't want to disturb the "strategy" section. I don't want to post there if I'm not sure I'm doing the rest of the days.
Let's look at the top 10 in the draft of this matches. Very small sample size, but still some points to note:
Bad day for our Queen of Pain, she was used a lot by our competitors and got a very poor 30% of win rate. With this sample size I guess we can wait for her duty during the day 1 tomorrow to draw some conclusions. Shadow Fiend and Clockwerk were popular picks (today and before the TI) that didn't have so much success today. In the other hard, Gyrocopter and Tusk, another couple of popular picks, had a better performance more related with their current metagame status. People were asking: how come Leshrac made it to TI5 without a nerf. Well something was for sure: at this level (wildcard level) teams rather not give him away, he only played one match... and we won it. The last note I want to make is that I expected to see more Undying, like, an abuse of him.
And to keep it short, some misc stats:
Hope you like it! Hugs!

Yeah, I was wondering about leshrac too. He should be really close to 100% ban.

I enjoyed this, I'd say keep on doing it. Stats are always interesting Put this in the spotlight so you'll, hopefully, get some more well deserved views

Ember is the surprise for me so far. Picked more often than storm when we barely saw him for the past few months

Wondering to see if the top teams will be using him as much. As SyndereN mentioned yesterday he's a decent pick against PL, and also he's a decent pick against bloodseeker.

I suspect he'll be one of these high pick/ban, but low actual efficacy heros.

The stakes are high and pressure to perform lies on the aggressor.
