My advice would be to get a scapel and toenail scissors and have at 'er.

Get some really strong fishing line. Get some ice. Freeze your toe, and wrap the fishing line around, and constantly pull tighter until your toe falls off. Never have to worry about that ingrown toe nail ever again.

It might be hard to do yourself because it really does hurt once he gets down to near the root, but I'm in Canada so I went to let the doctor do it for free. You can also get it done with freezing and cauterizing, which I've also done, but that will cost more. My advice would be to get a scapel and toenail scissors and have at 'er. I'd like to say, depending on how bad it is because it could just be a light nipping rather than a real burrowed in bastard, this could be a whole new world of pain for you and could just end up making it worse lol

They didnt burn the root so it grew back into the skin and they had to do it again.... there was quite a lot of blood but trust me it was well worth it. Having an ingrown toenail hurts like a fucking bitch and i am so glad that i got it done. BUT there was no way in the fucking world i would be able to do it myself

The last time I had one, I did it myself. At first it wasn't that bad, but eventually it hurt like fucking crazy. I'm trying to work up the nerve to just go cut the ingrown part off, but just thinking about it makes me cringe.

(Doing by yourself is probably the best option. Suck it up bitch! :D)
