And there are also grander 3s moments at SBO compared to evo such as RX basically killing rikimaru after riki taunted him, maeda's Keeper-Jin on Pyro as well as stuff from old SBO's like Kuroda paying back Wong with his Q and J's reverse OCV on KO/Boss/Nuki I'm not discounting what Daigo did, I guess I've just seen these other stuff and found myself more impressed by those since those people are pretty much on the same level (well... maybe except Kuroda vs Ortiz/Wong) when that happened, Justin Wong at that time, although he was good at 3s is nowhere near how much better he is right now and if that happened now, Daigo wouldn't be toying around with him at that time (At least I, along with some other people believe)

Maybe you can check whether any local video game stores (EB Games, etc.) have it in stock by going to their website online. Also, personally I'd rather buy it from Amazon than from Ebay: I've just heard/read a lot of crap about Ebay. And yes, CvS2 = Capcom vs SNK 2. By the way, if you're looking to buy 3s, then you'll have to buy Street Fighter Anniversary Edition, which comes with both the US version of 3s and SF2: Super Turbo.

A quick list of general changes from Arcana Heart Full to Arcana Heart 2: + Show Spoiler [changes in AH2] + * New characters and Arcanas. (naturally) * New character voices, some more annoying than others. (e.g. Yoriko...) * Old characters have some new and different attacks. * Arcana specials and supers can now be homing cancelled, just like a character's regular specials and supers. * Combos are MUCH shorter. * The most-abused unblockable setups have been removed: you can no longer use guard break moves while withholding an Arcana special or super. * You gain supers even more quickly. * All characters have an extra-powerful super called a Critical Heart that consumes multiple super levels. * There's a new defensive ability called "Arcana Blast" that consumes a super metre. I'm not too sure what it does yet since I haven't seen it used much. * The new music is awesome. ^^ (Note: I'm not 100% sure about the players' names in these videos.) AH2 - Ma Chao(?) (Wind Yoriko) vs Alan White (Love Saki) My favourite Yoriko and Saki players. This is a rematch from an old AHF match (which you can check out here to compare AHF and AH2). Notice the setup Alan White does at 0:32: PURE SEX. (He whiffs a j.C kick just before his opponent gets up, causing them to block high. Then he lands and quickly does a cr.A while they are still blocking high. It all happens very fast. ) + Show Spoiler [the match] + AH2 - Time Man(?) (Wind Konoha) vs Alan White (Love Saki) Good shit dot com. Amazing ending. + Show Spoiler [the match] + Hopefully some GGs involving the new characters/arcanas will surface soon. PS: In the SSBB New Characters topic, I posted a decent SSBB match that I played last week. You can check it out here if you're interested: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?currentpage=17&topic_id=57867#336

A half-way completed resource of sorts for a few characters and a better explanation of some things is the SRK wiki here. A match: + Show Spoiler + Battle between two low tiers: Lilith and Anakaris. Anakaris is the only character with no tech hit, which is totally exploitable by most characters. However, his rushdown pressure mixup is the most fun to watch. I'm not going to attempt to comment because I know nothing about playing those two. A relatively recent 2on2 tournament final: + Show Spoiler + I'm not even going to comment, I just picked this out at random and don't feel like explaining. -_-;; Anyway, it might be worth noting Zabel (aka Lord Rapter; also, Aulbath aka Rikuo) is the only high tier character of the four used. Victor is considered dead last in terms of how good he is. Sorry I couldn't be bothered atm to find a spectacular match, but at least this is the current top-level play.

I have a feeling David Sirlin is going to do a fantastic job with the remixed characters. I know almost nothing about ST but I imagine this would feel like someone rebalancing 3s, which would be really awesome, so I'm guessing you ST fans will really look forward to it? In other news, I was reading a Brawl thread on SRK and someone posted up 3 ST videos from Youtube in defence of ST. They're all short-and-sweet matches, remarkable imo in the amount of serious ownage unleashed in them in such small time-frames :O. + Show Spoiler [3 short matches] +

I know it's not very played outside of Japan, treated more like Capcom's "other" fighter series in the 90's, but it's a pretty good game, less tiered than something like 3s (not saying that makes it better than 3s). In any case the series is probably mostly responsible for a subgeneration of people knowing what a succubus is. Some gameplay mechanics: + Show Spoiler +

Holy holy shit I LOVE Vampire Savior. I never played it competitively, but the overall concept, execution, and presentation of that game was just so pitch perfect. Shadow FTW hee hee

Did you know this jewel? It's from 1998, weighted 554 Mb, the NeoGeo used to have huge games by the time (Art of Fighting was 102 Mb). I just found it and I'm totally amazed. Do you know it? Did it have competitive gaming? Too old to ask now maybe... And have you ever realized of this? + Show Spoiler +

The detail and style from a NeoGeo game kind of blows the mind. Crazy Tokugawa shogunate era Japan set piece. But what's really crazy is the pseudo-Romantic orchestral music, apparently by the Guilty Gear guy. :o

I just found it and I'm totally amazed. Do you know it? Did it have competitive gaming? Too old to ask now maybe... And have you ever realized of this? + Show Spoiler + As said, it's Last Blade 2, I would say it's the 2nd best SNK non-KOF fighting game (behind Garou). What's interesting about this game is it's kind of a cross between 3s and Samurai Showdown. There's the parrying aspect of 3s, though the parries are a lot harder to actually utilize, but you only need to parry once (it'll stop a multi-hit move). It has kind of a Samurai Showdown playstyle also with heavy zoning/poking (but it is very combo intensive once you actually land a hit, as you'll see in some videos I'll post). There's also 2 "grooves", power and speed. In power, everything does chip damage, attacks do more damage but it's much harder to combo other than from super cancels (there are no chain combos and everything you do has to be linked or canceled). In speed, there are long chain combos but overall less damage output (and no super cancels, but supers are very easy to combo from a chain) and each character has a "speed" custom combo (which does huge damage but the meter builds way slower than the power meter). Most characters are better in power, simply because of the huge huge damage output that super cancels provide. What's kind of cool about this game is they made a "cap" to the amount of damage that can be done per one combo (180 dmg to be exact, which is 3/4ths of someone's lifebar). I guess it was to prevent retarded infinites (which there are a couple), but it really doesn't help much since most characters have easy 50+% combos, so everyone dies in 1 hit anyways =P. Also, I believe the game was made with Kenshin in mind, many of the characters resemble Kenshin characters. Here are some videos: + Show Spoiler + Here's a video where Zantetsu, the best character in the game (other than the final boss who's banned), pretty much just rapes everyone. Zantetsu has a teleport slash that hits ambiguously (think Vega's claw dive on wakeup in ST), and every time it hits, he gets a free OTG with his air kunai (which does pretty hefty damage for something that's so easy to land). Oh and btw it's also safe on block -.-zzz Here's some speed action for you: Speed Akari has seriously seriously long ass combos (she actually has infinites but they're pointless to do) Speed Moriya has a teleport glitch where he can basically teleport for free (as in no recovery lag) which makes his rushdown and runaway insane. Amano is usually played in power, but this particular Amano is very skilled with speed. Speed Washizuka is my favorite character (because he's like Saito from Kenshin, Shinsengumi!!) Juzoh is the grappler of this game. He can basically do a little over 50% off any grab once he has meter (and close to 50% without meter). Hardest part is actually landing the grab =P. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBUQxnyz638

I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to show in that SF2 screenshot. But I have noticed that you can see the outline of Ryu's/Ken's hands in the fireball in its *other* animation frame. Kingkosi: I'm definitely looking forward to it as well, although I probably won't get to play with it much until my exams are done =/.
