I was just offered a coaching position in the club. Not the elite team, mind you, but the "B-team", I guess, which is the development team of swimmers swimming or aiming for the youth nationals. The club board has been in touch with me about advising on the recruitment of a new coach, and they want me to sit in on the interviews with each candidate. I'm glad they got around to realizing their faults, even though it's too late to retain the current coach or the last, and I hope they'll listen to us (I will relay the thoughts of the rest of the team to the board for sure). As for the coaching job, I don't know. Maybe? It's very out of the blue. | ||
