But you need to develop a habit of double checking yourself when you do so. Like people often underestimate the ability to look town, and to convince others to do as you say. Just being right is useless without the ability to lead, which is one of the most underrated skills in mafia. This game would have been a rout if GB/lian had your convincing skills, or you had their reads. But because you had the ability to lead, and they had the correct reads, town did for a bit there run in some trouble. This is why, given the fact that you can indeed lead towns, you need to stop every once in a while and just think "Okay, this is what I believe, but what if everything I think is WRONG and these other people are RIGHT?". All it took for town to win the game was for you to be won over, and to your credit, you came around in the end. But don't waste your abilities in terms of arguing and leading, on being stubborn with your reads. It was especially blatant that you simply didn't listen to GB because you didn't like his posting style. | ||
