You don't count Ange finally meeting up with her little sister, only for her little sister to turn out to be a psycho with a whip, or Hilda's mother completely replacing her with a new child, and later in the very same episode the police track her down and literally curb stomp her as twists for the sake of twists or trying to shock the viewer for the sake of it? Oh, and lets not even get into the copious amounts of yuri in the show. Stopped at episode 4 my ass. The only thing that stopped was the unsolicited anal fisting.
Oh yeah, for some reason the plot's current path of genocide was slipping my mind. But thats okay, right? I mean, the show goes out of its way to paint every single person in the entire world as a racist asshole, so its fine.

The first minutes of this week's Parasyte are pretty funny :D Nice dream! The only thing annoying is the fact that the other characters keep asking the MC if he is still himself :S
UBW #10 : Teacher op. + Show Spoiler +Even if magically boosted, him beating Saber seems really weird. But I guess we can always resort to the reason that Shirou is a poor master...

You can check out Kaze no Stigma maybe. Mahouka MC is too op... I'd like something that gives great battles

+ Show Spoiler + No, i don't think these are twists for twists sake, or even for shock value. I count those as showing how even the people they thought would at the very least show some sort of sympathy and attempt to be on their side really view them. It's more about portraying the "human" world as animistic and barbaric while humanizing the MC and another side character (which was previously only shown to be a bitch). It's an attempt at giving you background for the reason Hilda did the things she did, and the final reconciliation between Ange and Hilda. Now that there's conflict between Hilda/Ange and the rest of the Norma, they'll probably end up working together to regain the "friendship" of the other norma before going off to change the Human-Norma social dynamic.
Also, you may want to think about spoilering that.
The only thing that stopped was the unsolicited anal fisting.
This happened in one scene, in one episode, and you won't stop talking about it. Obviously this is was the straw that broke the camels back (for you) so to speak. That's okay, you don't have to like Cross Ange. Just know that I do like it, and I'll defend my opinion on it.
I would also like to add that "shock value" has no meaning for me. After reading about a roman god turning into a bull so he can rape a woman (and a plethora of other things) in what is considered a great piece of classic literature, those things just become part of story telling i guess.

First off, get off your high horse, I know you liked it, and that doesn't bother me. I never attacked your opinion on it, so you can quit pretending like you are just "defending your opinion", when you are the one who tried to imply that I didn't know what I was talking about. Calling the anime shit doesn't mean I'm doing the same about your opinion. You just have never seen any anime take on things such as racism and characters having a harsh backstory before, that's okay. Just know that I don't like it, because its gutter trash, and I'll defend my opinion on it. You people are quick to try and brush me off by bringing up other anime airing this season, or "you only hate it because of a single scene!", and quite frankly its insulting, especially when its coming from some guys who I otherwise get along with.

Well i'll start with apologizing, I didn't realize i was coming off that way, and I do feel sorry about it.
I never attacked your opinion on it,
This might not be what you mean when you say these things, but when you call it "shit" or "gutter trash" to me that's implying that you are attacking my opinion on it. It's just how it feels to me at least, because it's something I like, and because you are somebody I like, it feels like you're criticizing me, when you criticize something i like.
when you are the one who tried to imply that I didn't know what I was talking about. Once again, here we have a case where what I meant and what you thought i meant by what i said were complete opposites. I genuinely thought that you had only watched those first few episodes (which i admit was rife with the things you disliked about the show). It wasn't me trying to imply you didn't know what you were talking about, it was more of me being curious of what you thought of the things after that, the ones that make the show better for me. I'm not sure if I'm being clear there. I honestly thought you had dropped it because of the stuff you don't like about it early on, and missed out on the stuff that I really like about it. I guess that's how i'll put it.

World Trigger with some good comedy. + Show Spoiler +Tamakoma branch is so chill lol. Can't wait to hear more about Yuma's background and the neighbour's world.
UBW's episode was good too.+ Show Spoiler + That teacher is such a badass. It's like Saber didn't know what hit her LOL. Also, Shiroe with his surprise. Hope Archer and Rin can get to the same synergy they had before. The fights have been missing him so far.
LH: + Show Spoiler +smart plan and lots of battles which I liked. Wish we saw more of this stuff over this season rather than them trying to stop an assassin for several episodes along with other stuff. Also, crusty seems to have been forgotten T.T
SAO: + Show Spoiler +an ok episode. There was some foreshadowing about how she'll get her mom to understand her and we also knew that she'll be showing Yuuki the school and outside so nothing surprising.

Like i guessed there must be another/original world with 'norma' people etc. Some big development here which is good, intriguing scene of that 'mama play' wtf lol + Show Spoiler +and she has a pair of devil wings wtf . Yesh, godlike writer team indeed. I'm liking Cross Ange quite a bit. + Show Spoiler +Like Ryu mentioned, the world the anime paints is barbaric despite the whole 'mana has made for a peaceful world' idea that was popping up earlier. Going outside the norm aka being a norma is automatically seen as an abomination regardless of how people viewed you prior to the reveal. Even family members that you could trust seem to turn their backs on you just because of the norma label. Add in mechs and dragons, an interesting mix and it's a fun watch. The start was a bit rough with some of the stuff they did to Ange but otherwise, it's been chugging along and getting better.
As for GBF and G-Reko from your other post, GBF isn't my kind of anime so not watching it. G-Reko started out looking promising but it's been boring for quite a bit now that I'm inclined to agree, Cross Ange is the mech of this season for me

Also, Yuki Yuuna was a huge surprise for me...i wasn't even gonna watch it until somebody made me. It starts all SOL-esque but then takes some turns darker (sort of like madoka...that's really the one that it feels like the most. People are always comparing the two, and i can see why...it feels like the creator(s) were watching Madoka and were like...hey we can make that). This last episode had a really awesome twist though and the fantasy of it got really interesting
The creator, Takahiro, admitted in an interview that he partly made YuYuYu to be an "anti-madoka" so i'm expecting it to bring in a logical twist or subversion at the end. I've been following this since the first two episodes aired together and i would say asking yourself "okay, so how much madoka am i going to get here?" was really fun and he played around the line really well. Though the vertexes designs remind me so much of angels from evangelion so i wouldn't mind that sort of ending as well.
Also, idk how much this was planned but while Madoka's episode 12 aired on Good Friday, YuYuYu's episode 12 is being aired on Christmas... lmao
I'm gonna start reading the prequel LN which follows Togo two years ago, I heard that was pretty good too.

Lol the things Sent describes as happening (and apparently are true since people aren't disputing it) def paint the anime as trying to hard to be edgy and failing hard to the degree of aburdity. Glad I refrained from picking it up after the whole anal fisting thing was mentioned back then. And while Sent is harsh at times he is pretty spot on most of the time.

I'd like something that gives great battles He wins because + Show Spoiler [FSN spoiler but not really plot import…] +his fighting style abuses surprise and takes advantage of people backing off. He and Caster leave because since Saber had seen him fight already she would have pwnt him the second time.

haha ofc sent is spot on. i hated valvrave so hard but somehow i am enjoying the ride from crossange (probably something to do with different levels of humiliation/sadistic plays rofl), but really it is not that kind of enjoyment that makes me excited/cant wait for watch more of it, it is that kind of 'story is so messed up and pretty lolz and lets see how much more lolzy can it gets'. So at that level, ya, crossange is defo something else in this season lol.
+ Show Spoiler +seriously, wtf, brother with mummy issue playing some mama play lol

I'm just loving World Trigger, hope it will be a long anime as it can become really good.

i barely watch anime, but katanagatari blew my mind. the only other anime / manga that would come close to it would be one piece. so i'm at like only two favorites, in no order since I don't think they deserve to be ranked:
Katanagatari One Piece

Unlimited budget works strikes again, I knew or rather suspected the teacher to be the last master since his first encounter with saber made it fairly obvious but didn't expect him to kickass that much.

Rin being a tsundere gets old so fast. I like her better when the red-haired guy wasn't introduced yet.

+ Show Spoiler +Pretty dam good ep. Seems like we finally building up to wtf is going on.
Cross Ange and Yona are pretty much the only shows watch as they come out.
