I've somewhat managed to change my lifestyle around a little bit these past 3 weeks, and hopefully keep it up in the future, by exercising two times a day, having study sessions twice a day, going to work where I've been helping out a couple of family friends at their luxurious bakery, and going out the occasional weekend for social gatherings.
With the exercising, I've been waking up at roughly around 8-9am most mornings and chowing down a quick breakfast and going out for a run. This was definitely super hard at first, considering I hate moving around too much in the early mornings PLUS even though it's the morning, here in Texas, it's still rather hot, ranging from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit even at that time. Then in the late afternoon or evening, I'd head to the school gym, lift weights, and roll/grapple/wrestle with anyone around that's willing. This was even harder, since when I usually lift weights or do bench press or anything of the sort, I rarely actually pushed myself to lift more than I can and rather opted for more repetition, so going from 100lbs on a bench press to 135lbs and my current 170lbs was a drastic change.
As for studying, for anyone that read my previous blog(s), I had been studying for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) for the better part of my second semester during school and I took it on May 17th and failed with a 1392 (passing score is 1400). I've been studying again, now twice a day with a rather positive attitude this time around if I might add. I'm studying once after I take a shower after the morning run, and another time in the evening about two hours or so before heading to sleep. Now I'm set to re-take the exam on August 13th and this time, I'll be more prepared by studying for all general areas of the pharmacy field that could potentially be covered on the PTCE.
And with all that, I've managed to change my diet from having eaten nothing but junk food and eating mainly meat-based dishes and added in some fruits and vegetables, along with cooking myself some food (though it's just mainly stews, chicken, and stuff like fried vegetables and seafood).
I've also somewhat lessened the amount of times I get on TeamLiquid, which is actually a rather large accomplishment considering I would probably get on TL once or twice every one or two hour either from my phone or laptop, so I was definitely addicted to these forums. Now, save for me typing up this blog post, I only get on TL through mobile and for maybe 2-3 minutes a day total.
As for games, I honestly think I won't be playing Brood War anytime soon. Maybe it's me getting interested in other things, maybe I've grown tired of it,
Anyways, that's just me nowadays, still keeping up with the basic things like MMA and football/soccer, studying and exercising more, while not playing games. Hope you enjoyed the read.
