Have to agree though, if you don't like the way the tourney is run, don't sign up or run your own when this shit was all clearly stated in the OP.
Or we could all stop acting like girls, and take criticisms for what they are, criticisms? Not referring to the people who are actually asking for a mid-season change of the rules, which is ridiculous, but complaints arent. I think we can all agree this isnt an ideal tournament, so why get riled up when people offer suggestions and critiques? Criticism without useful input is worthless, no one offered suggestions, people were just bitching about the player switching which was clearly stated in the OP. I don't think we can all agree on that, as far as I can tell RA has done his best to run this tournament to the guidelines set in the OP, despite people not showing up or otherwise causing issues and lacking read comprehension, and he has tried to accommodate players a lot. The only thing he has available to enforce playing outcomes is walkovers or delays to schedule, neither ideal. So I don't think that this has to do with taking on board suggestions or positive criticism for further seasons. If people can politely and helpfully provide feedback I'm sure he can work with that, but everyone complaining about a tourny when they're all sitting on their arse and not working to help with anything from scheduling to liquipedia is just a bunch of people being whiny bitches and not anything related to legitimate complaints By not ideal, I meant merely that every tourny can be improved And yeah, some people criticized without offering direct alternative suggestions, but saying 'the tournament is too long' is itself a suggestion, i.e make it shorter, and so on. People could be more constructive sure, but things like: "and if you don't like it, you're always free to fuck off" arent exactly helping anything either.
Thinking like this is how SC2 was created...

Players, keep in mind that the hard deadline for Round-of-32 results/replays will be Sunday, Jun 08 4:59am GMT (GMT+00:00), meaning there is no potential postponement. If you are unavailable at the designated time, try and play earlier and/or whenever you are available before the deadline. If you do NOT play your games, it will be a walkover. If an entire group does not show up, the entire group will be walked over. If only one player advances and the rest of the games are not finished, the remaining players will be walked over. Of course, keep in mind, that if you ARE available but your opponent is not in contact and/or refuses to play, they will be walked over.
Be sure to play your games this time around. Again, no potential postponement. Read the thread, be aware of the map rotation, get the map-pack if you need it, and play your games.

I understand where you are coming from completely, but just a simple question, if the next date of ro16 games are not untill the 14th, than why would games not be allowed to be played before the 14th instead of walkovers? Just curious.
