LMQ always gives side farm to ackerman..And that dude dive in teamfight like a boss..And then we have seraph who just roam around like a jungler with a carry top laner.. | ||

Either way I haven't played this game for months but the mistakes were obvious from pick/ban, almost as if they had someone who had no idea how the game works creating strategies for them. My favorite two players, chauster/jiji haven't been on CLG for a long time now, I find it hard to keep rooting for them when they make amateur level mistakes repeatedly. Oh and drafting lol. Seraph's solo queue games show he doesn't play trundle/mundo, he does play renek which would've been a far better pick. Either way they don't get him shyvana when lee sin is open for jungle so no point in picking elise. Great thought process all around. Edit: ok rewatched the first two minutes. The four top thing only works if C9 puts their bot top. The saw shyvanna ward and sent doube/aphro bot, but then midway they turn around and walk back to top. Dexter looked like he was gonna start blue either way. No idea why they didn't run at C9's red. | ||

Then CLG decide to do the exact opposite making her completely useless. It baffles me further that Monte made a very similar observation of Irelia in the OGN finals. Monte recently made a comment that his role as an analyst is less powerful than his role as a coach, so I think you might be exactly on point. I imagine in one conversation, he talks about Irelia as a strong pick. In another, they discuss that the laneswap meta makes Vayne a viable option. CLG cross-pollinates and ends up with a terrible 1v2 top lane and a terrible 2v2 bot lane, thus ensuring someone was useless. | ||

Renekton is just utterly useless after laning phase and if you're ready to sacrifice your toplane i don't see a reason why do you have to pick Renekton and not Ryze, Jax, Shyvana or Doctor Mundo, guys who are actually useless outside of laning phase. But Shyvana is going strong, with 18-3 in both LCSes. Kha'Zix is 0% winrate in NA still, KottenX still only one iirc who won with it in EU. | ||

Champion win rates aren't very indicative of champion strength with such a small sample size, by this point in the last split Lucian had gone 1-8 in NA LCS but is now considered arguably the strongest ADC around. | ||

Her ult + her ridiculous movement speed lets her get into fights quickly and makes her a huge threat immediately. Renekton does have a gap closer but it's still worse than shyvana's and since teleport takes a while the other team can react to it. | ||

Lucian is strongest adc since his release, nothing new. When you have dash, wave clear, possible resets and ability to make 6 attacks in 2 seconds, that's cute. Especially after Jinx's chompers nerf. Those losses, lol, NA was pretty bad in that case because NA had 3 teams winning and 5 teams losing :p He's going strong lately, not losing a game in NA playoffs iirc? + He's like 9-3 in EU after Week 1. | ||

If we were in a meta where mobility wasn't important, he wouldn't be nearly as impressive, and if we get into an even more dedicated laneswap meta, immobile ADCs will make a stronger comeback. When he gets nerf, I hope it is just his E cooldown/cost. He is just too mobile for the raw power of his kit, which is otherwise incredibly well balanced. I don't like exaggerations as well, but generally, Lucian has best kit for ad. Personally, i don't want him to be nerfed, i prefer other champions to be buffed. I still wish that Riot will make Jinx able to switch weapons instantly, without delay. | ||
