Dude, you're like stuck in Season 3, seriously.
If CLG's strategy was to babysit DL, he would have played Jinx, Vayne and Tristana every game, not Sivir.

This, this this.
C9 plays these situations well - they give time for Balls to farm up so he can become a monster, as usual sacrificing a bit of Hai's farm, because he's on a semi-support champ that doesn't need heavy farm to be effective. This lets Hai roam around and cause havoc to CLG, while he's not restricted by his farming priority (since Balls is essentially the 2nd 'carry').
CLG on the other hand, starved the shit out of Seraph, who is on a champ that is a strong midgame - IF IT gets items. Irelia with items creates a very strong timing, Irelia without items is a crappy tank with a stun/slow. So if YOU PICK IRELIA YOU NEED TO GIVE HER FARM. If CLG's plan was for Seraph to be starved, you need to give him a champ that has a strong 1/2 item timing, like even something like Kennen, who basically just needs a Zhonyas to play that 2nd support role. Just a basic planning/execution fail.

Dont think Doublelift is that impressive anymore tbh. He didnt even outfarm Sneaky that game LOOOOOL.
Not sure what game your watching, but he hasnt done a whole lot thats impressive, then at key spots where his positioning matters he blows it, for example the fight near the inhib after CLG chases C9 all the way back to CLG's base, CLG gains a small edge for the fight, then DL decides to run alone to there backside for no reason other then blindedly going after lucian, just to get smacked, where as he could have focused on the shyvana with the teamfight edge they gained, and then work his way around if needed...

But props to him for not eating a skillshot and dying while sieging a tower this game though. I dunno. His lack of deaths suggest he was dodging enough stuff imo. Problem is with vayne here was lack of frontline to help peel. The ori ults weren't hitting whem they beeded to be hit. They were almost exclusively used as damage with no followup from CLG. That means no time for DL to hit people while they're bwing rearranged from shockwave. Irelia was pretty much useless. Did no damage offered 0 peel. No map presence.

The NA LCS Summer Split Week 1 MWP award (Most Westrice Player) goes to InnoX, of Evil Geniusses. I have to say that this week in LA has shown mostly mediocrity. No one really shined, but the players we expected to get destroyed managed to suprise us. Westrice himself outplayed both Balls and Zionspartan and his biggest problem seemed to be not being on the same page as the rest of the team rather than individual play. In the end, it were Innox's limited champion pool, inability to hold advantages and general lack of impact that won him this award. Let's hear what Gtrsrs had to say about his player.

+ Show Spoiler +It is my firm belief that top lane is the role with the shallowest talent pool in the west, with only two good players - Zorozero and Balls. After watching Westrice's awe-inspiring play against Team Coast in the NA promotion series, I decided to establish the Westrice Awards - a recognition for all the players whose struggle reminds us, that toplane is hard. The list of awards handed out so far:
All-stars 2014: Achie, for worthy representation of his region EU LCS S4 Summer W1: Darien, for 0.82 KDA and living up to the "Feed to win (or lose)" motto NA LCS S4 Summer W1: InnoX, for consistent lack of impact and limited champion pool

I'm impressed with how much Aphro improved this year. First time he was in CLG he felt mediocre, this season he's their best player

Would help if he wasn't so god damn stubborn to just play carry top lanes and play some tanky top lanes. Would be for the benefit of the team because look at how his carry top laners are working out for him and the team.

But don't just take this game as an example, almost all of his games in fall split were underwhelming and he never carried his team. The ONLY impressive game from him last split was the one where he was on caitlyn vs. TSM which they ended up losing. Other than that his mechanics are not great and he eats more skillshots than almost anyone but turtle.

Agreed. Link ults were hitting people but it's just too damn dangerous to go in with Vayne not knowing that you will get a kill and get out 100%, when your frontline is either on tilt or just didn't have enough farm. I honestly think, it was better choice to pick Tristana or Jinx here, just because of lack of raw damage but Liftlift did everything he could with this pick.

You didn't like their game against C9, when they rolled Draven-Thresh lane with Sivir-Leona? D: Or his Lucian against TSM? CLG in whole stepped up a lot last split, they didn't have a carry, it was a cohesive unit.

I'm glad Dig went 3-1 but the loss to Curse almost stings more than the win over c9 was good, probly just the order tho

Also crumbz saying crs would be ez win was such a giveaway that they would lose lol.

To be honest, I didn't really enjoy any game except for CLG vs LMQ. Not sure what I expected :p

Seraph being underfarmed is one thing, but he made many MANY questionable decisions and engages throughout the whole game.
