I've already bought 3. Got Frejlord Ashe (bleh), TPA Nunu(yeah) and Hired Gun Graves. There is no way to buy riot graves except to find someone who has a code and buy it from them or get him through the mystery skin. Going rate on ebay seems to be about 20-35 dollars.

For mid, Ziggs, Leblanc, Nidalee, Morde and Ori are good picks.

And thanks for the suggestions, I'm really at a loss for what I should be doing these days. The reason I'm asking is mainly because I've just kinda copied pro picks/masteries/runes to get to this point but it's not cutting it anymore and I'm not sure where/how to improve outside of just mass games (whereas with SC or HS I had a more definite practice plan since they're both 1v1 games)

Might as well rep all my picks. Nasus top is still strong, you just can't be an idiot like you could before. Get it out of your head that Nasus has a weak lane phase (he doesn't). Top lane is all about knowing if you are the boss or if you are the bitch. Too many Nasus players think they are the bitch when they are actually the boss. Malzahar's been serving me well mid lane. Great clear, sustain, amazing duelling, crushes assassins, helps a ton with objectives. High damage late game. Immobile but that just means l2position.

You can also feed a as Jax and still eventually, eventually, eventually become a god. For mid, kayle is ez. Press E and whack people. Mid is the most diverse though so it's really up to you. You probably should also review solo lane basics, like knowing 3:00 is a common possible Jungle gank timing and ward accordingly based on their Jungler buff start. also: learning how to control the wave is huge. Sometimes you don't directly beat their champions by poking them, but having the wave at an advantageous position or timing. Take advantage of pushing and freezing at the right time. top lane is also a lot about properly trading based on spell cd's, knowing your power spikes and their power spikes.

That said, you can get to Diamond playing any champion if you're good enough. It's just that some champions require more skill/effort than others.

Well I was a jungle main for S2/part of S3 so it's more the fact I don't really know how matchups work out because I never really know what to pick/don't restrict myself. The only Jax games I've had this season were exactly what you said, I fed like crazy but just kept splitting and we eventually won/lost when I hit 40 minute mark lol On April 03 2014 03:03 Ryuu314 wrote: If you're playing the fotm champions and are hitting a wall in your progression, it's most definitely an issue with how you play. I know a lot of my issues are not knowing champion matchups well enough because I've not really mained a role this season, so sometimes I just get blown out of lane and I can't really recover

My Gragas is horrible and Renekton is below average, and I really don't know what I should be playing these days. My ADC pool is like, Cait Ez which seems to work ok for Solo Q and I can play Annie/Thresh/Leona etc. for Support, but I have no idea what I should be focusing on for solo lanes. I doubt it. I played pretty much only 5 champions to plat (Katarina Morde Amumu Ashe Leona). I dabbled on a few more champions, but not much. You can take a look at my champions played: bad morde bot @ na. I hit plat 5 last week.
