Come on, pull a Red Bull Battlegrounds, pick up a few new maps and see how they play out! Most likely they'll just get veto'd out but you never know what could happen!

Now we're going to see more and more European and Korean competition phase out players in what should have an American event. There was a poll with almost 90% voting for these 2 extra qualifiers. MLG is listening to the community and that's awesome! They can never please everyone but they are doing their best. A completely region locked MLG would quite frankly suck, just look at the old ones, they were that epic because of koreans. Boxer vs IdrA etc.. is what people want to see. This is good for the NA scene too as it will generate a lot more interest and NA players still stand a chance because of the amount of pool play slots and no travel costs being paid.

I had not known this whole world existed and now, following the players, tournaments, streams and discussions has been an important activity that has allowed me to temporarily escape from the disappointments of the "real" world. Weird, eh? Good luck to all those who try their hand in the qualifiers and to the tournament participants. Thanks MLG.

Actually I wonder if an open qualifier would be better? Depending on KeSPA interest it really could just be Acer-Axiom-Liquid-EG + free agents in the KR qualifier. Not that it's bad, but it could be more interesting with players from other regions.

Good audition for the Free agents. Maybe some B teamers will get a chance to play as well
