Best is that after 6 you can go to lane, instantly stun -> ult combo the opponent laner and force them off the lane. Then after like 20 more seconds your ult is back up because of the cooldown getting reduced so much

VES should pick up all the people who got knocked out and put them with Pobelter the god. Mega top, Scubacris/porpoise/laute jungle, any bot lane.

Speaking of true damage autoattacks, I was playing Gangplank vs Yi top and fell behind...
It was hilarious when he activated ult and I just peaced out, outran him for over 2 turrets until he turned around.
The lesser known Yi counter - Move faster!

It makes absolutely no sense that Riot seems to be pushing CDR as a tank stat because so many tanking items have tons of CDR, and then they don't give any for the masteries.
Yeah case in point, if I want an AD carry build with 40% CDR, what do you suppose I'm going to build? Brutalizer, Youmu's, Black Cleaver? They only have one item. 5% + SV as defensive item + Zephyr/Brut = 35. The problem is the only ADC who building CDR would be very strong on is Ashe. Or maybe the problem is that Zephyr and Ghostblade are just terribly UP items. I even forgot that Zephyr existed. Hmm, what if -that- gave 15% CDR? Surely it wouldn't be overpowered. Show nested quote +On December 10 2013 10:19 Ryuu314 wrote: Zephyr's not UP, it's just that the stats on it are all pretty luxury and generally redundant. It's a perfectly fine buy in the late game when you're maxing out on slots. I don't think so. In my opinion, it is actually the worst to buy when you're maxing out on slots because it's so shit for a single slot. I've only seen Zephyr once recently, built by some jungle Udyr who built it with Wriggles Lantern(and was braindead). I'm pretty sure I'd still rather lose 8 MR to get 5% CDR than buy a shitty item that has 15% CDR.

Yeah I think Taric is better now because he scales with armor and he does a shitload of damage. He did that in S3 too, but in S3 there were very little gold.
His passive is a bit broken. It has no cooldown, so if you space out your attacks well you can do a lot of damage AND get your stun back quicker.

He definitely does more damage than he did in S3.

Hey I have a general question about Top lane.
So when you're up against an extreme herbivore (someone like Nasus or Zac, where all they want to do is farm all day) and you're playing a lane bully, when should you start going heavy with the bullying?
Because I feel like levels 1-3 if you try to bully them too much you only end up pushing out the wave and you don't do any meaningful damage to force them out of lane (without truly committing to harass, which can be risky due to junglers and other variables) or be a big enough threat deny them creeps. Not to mention, the creep minions can do bloody murder to you if you're not careful.
So should you wait until like level 4 or something to start harassing? The reason why I wonder this is because trying to harass levels 1-3 doesn't seem to accomplish much (In fact I feel that you're only helping them) but on the other hand, if you're not attacking you're just letting them farm, which is exactly what they want to do.
Any advice would be appreciated. It might just be my imagination however.

Really depends on the champion you're playing. Generally tho you want to start harassing when your champion is the strongest. For example, if you're playing Panth, you wanna start harassing levels 1,3, 5 - basically whenever you level up your Q. If you're playing say Renekton, then you basically harass every time you have 50 fury.
Pushing the wave isn't really a big issue if you are able to shove it to the enemy's tower and keep wards up, which is easy with trinkets. Even if the enemy jungler camps you 'cause you're harassing and pushing hard, as long as you're not feeding away kills it's a net win since that means the other lanes aren't pressured + the jungler isn't clearing camps. As long as you shove it to their tower, they will miss cs and you'll get tower damage with minions. On top of that, depending on what champion you play, you can sometimes harass them under tower.

Play riven. Faceroll at level 1-18. Win lane.

why not just play renekton wt f
|
Renekton is gud, never banned and always freewin lane.
We actually had a dude accidentally pick support Renekton when another player already went top and that Renekton dude went like 7-1-15 and carried super hard as support. I think he's viable in like every role.
It's happened to me soooo many times that I'm destroying a Renekton, he's getting constantly pushed off the lane and is at like 100 hp while I'm full. Then he activates ult and is like GYROAAAHHH and stomps the shit out of me.
|
If that happens then you're either: A) Not destroying the Renekton (just slightly beating him) B) Playing Fiora after Renekton bought armor
|
Hmm I wonder. His ultimate is extremely powerful, and not least because you want to stack armor vs him and it adds the periodical magic damage.
