I really dislike him, for having left the SC2 scene more or less. If you say, he is just "hosting" the analysis desk, why is Incontrol not enough for doing this? Can't understand why the analysis desk needs a separate host. Also why do you need three observers? Aren't two enough, there only can be one person hosting at a time. Feels like they just invited almost anyone who ever did something in SC2, but then why again not Kaelaris who casted 1000s of WCS games the past year? Other than that, I'm really happy with the people they choose. I'm sure the casters and Redeye are going to do an AMAZING job. Really just hope that the blizzcon crowd has enough SC2 fans. A bit worried about this, because multi-game events often tend to have less of a good crowd than SC2-only events (best example S3 finals with the AMAZING canadian crowd ). Runs one of the two weekly shows features SC2. Plays SC2 a lot, but also plays other games. I guess that is your standard for "leaving the scene". By that standard, a lot of the community has "left the scene" because, fuck it, we like games. And if your wondering why they didn't get Kaelaris, maybe he was busy or that huge fucking body of water and all the time zones didn't make it that appeal for him.

Beside, I think his role on the analysis desk is not going to be the "analysis" part, but more of the coordinator or host for the other two analysts. Having one who can speak well, know how to organize and coordinate ideas between people can make the presentation more clear and coherent.

My only concern is that both analysts play the same race. It would have been nice to have at least two races represented, or a full trio of experts. But then again, who would they be? Perhaps Tod, Ret and Demuslim? Oh well, I'm sure it'll be fine regardless.

Not really a fan of the analysis desk. All 3 are great casters, but I like them less as analysts and having 2 Protoss is an obvious flaw. Ah well, it'll still be pretty good and overall the lineup for this Blizzcon is very impressive.

I wonder what DjWheat will be able to contribute as an analyst, hell, even Totalbiscuit is closer to the SC scene nowadays. It's good to know that the status of team owner is acceptable as being "closer to the SC scene" in the eyes of the community

Did they actually announce the casters yet? Because to me Kaelaris is a straight up caster, not analyst, host etc.

The only person who really comes to mind is qxc, but he's still a full-time player, unlike ToD and Geoff. (Also, I sorta suspect that Polt, if he drops out early-ish, might join them occasionally.)

Missing grubby again, he would be totally awesome with all those tosses in the tournament.

He actually asks thoughtful questions instead of 'How do you feel' as well. I don't care how they feel, I want to know what they think, and Chobra does a great job at that. Great lineup, would have loved to see Artosis or Day9 as well, but I really enjoy iNcontrols style and humour. Really looking forward to this!
