- Battlefield 4
- PS4
- Watch Dogs
- Assassin's Creed Black Flag
- Gran Turismo 6
Now onto the stuff I got to play.
Titanfall
All I can say is wow. Think of the game as a mixture of Mirror's Edge (movement), Battlefield 4 (combat) and MechWarrior for the next generation. Never I have had so much fun playing an FPS in a LONG time. This is a game I'll definitely grab on the PC once it comes out early next year.
Pokemon X&Y
No doubt the game has the best visuals of any Pokemon game generation, with 8 way movement and 3D capability, the possibilities of the game are limitless. Expect people to waste many a time messing with the Pokemon amie feature.
Nintendo 2DS
While it felt good in your hands, my main problem is the portability of the unit. Its anti-clamshell design means you can't fit it in your pocket. The larger screen disparity between the top and bottom screen as well makes it hard to focus attention to the bottom.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z
Blegh. Terrible game. It epitomizes what is wrong with the Ninja Gaiden reboot, and them some. Mash square, kill things, go somewhere else. Avoid at all costs.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
A big improvement on the previous two games battle systems, but still feels a lot repetitive for me. It looks like the game will return to the streamlined system of the first game but I don't know about this yet.
Ryse: Son of Rome
The Xbox One hardware makes this game look fucking incredible - and this was just on 1080p screens. Imagine what 4K games would look like. Yep. As for the game itself, it appears to be one that would be really fun to play with a few friends online, like L4D or Payday.
Beyond Two Souls
I was a huge fan of Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls is no disappointment. Think of it as Heavy Rain 2.0. Same mechanics, different story.
