It worked for me briefly and then crashed.

It was fine for hours, but now the WCG Japan is having problems.
I managed to track down where they are. They're at a pretty nice office building in Yokohama (Kanagawa district), which appears to be one of the offices of a sponsor Solidray. Who had a rep that was repping some games earlier.

I'd like to thank Lichter for this WCG Japan Qualifiers Live Thread.

We like to talk about Starcraft between our commercials.
Oh, and the WCG Japan qualifier appears to be taking place across the street from a store called "Candy Candy". I couldn't make out any of the other signage, but I found that funny.

Omg the drama is being explained, life complete.

So, when are the finals starting?

I just finished reading the thread and it seems like they were not good enough to be the main focus. The production people are superstars though.

2 Koreans entered, 2 Koreans in the finals. Seems about right.

The games weren't that good to be honest, lots of weird games and all ins. Basically back to the wol level where Pvz is all about timing attacks. But that's fine given that most people here only care about league. Worst is the league had been pretty disappointing with client constantly crashing. The ending for hka vs Singapore team didn't even show the final engagement. Let's see if the Taiwan teams semi final would look better
There seems to have little Internet lag for Sc2 though, surprised that league had more issues (appears to have) than sc2 lol
They think it is Taiwan server issue though

it's really disappointing that this tournament was so damn awful. with all the bad SC2 news lately a well run tournament in a new market would have been nice to see.

Tuned in to the Chinese stream to see if there was some other action there but all they had was penises and vaginas in the chat. And the LoL casting duo is all business on the left and party on the right.

It was actually really fun to watch. It was cool watching some new casters as well, the Aussie one is genuinely good. Baby steps for Hong Kong's scene but still, something good can come from it. First MLGs didn't even have means to prevent players hearing the casters.
Sucks that the PCs there weren't good enough and Tastosis had to cast from laptop mics but still, it's been fun for most of us.

Really disappointed in the switching back and forth between LoL and sc2 on their stream >_>. What's the point in having tastosis cast sc2 if they're not even gonna broadcast much of sc2
