There was a tournament in the Philippines back in 2011 that was a disaster of major proportions. People almost got stranded there. I'm trying to remember the name of it.

Why don't they stream the final?

It's on page 35

This is really unfortunate. Hope the terrible production quality and negative reaction by the community doesn't turn away future investment in esports here

Is HuK 0-1 right now? What's going on?

PPSL headed by Gus Ledesma (or something along those lines)

We already talked about it.
At least PPSL was streamed.
AIMAG was a completely mysterious unstreamed tournament that Flash, sOs, Sen, LoveCD, and MacSed attended. Some of the other players didn't show up. Flash decided to go to it than MLG or something. How can anything be worse than that lol

Oh no, HuK got 2-0'd?

Seriously not watching anymore HK tournaments ever again. Have they even shown any games or just endless advertisements and LOL.

They showed all the games. Most of the games were this morning.

Yeah, I remember when that was happening. I guess it's to be expected it would come in this thread, as it was a disaster with almost nothing streamed. At least they kept a good schedule for this.
Rather than watch advertisements, I'm watching the WCG Japan qualifiers. I know enough Japan to follow, but I'm absolutely amazed how many of the meta-game terms they use are borrowed English. "Third Base!" getting screamed was a little weird the first time.

I cheer for number seven
Edit: Listening to Japanese while reading up on this thread. Such a strange morning.

You guys missed the cross dresser earlier. (Goth-Maid dress. Though I wonder if he lost a bet... badly)
Also, they showed something like a BarCraft next door. There were 3 guys watching, but they showed off the Beer + K-On! statues. This was important to show.
The Japanese scene is known to be pretty small, but they production is pretty decent, realistically. We've seen a lot worse.

Gotta love the 8k heads-up... I thought people sucked at doing prize pools only in poker, guess it's more global =)

#7 is the Zerg, who they barely even attempt to actually say the name properly of.
Considering we switched over from watching LoL in Chinese... it's a really weird day.

Then I heard a girl and the stream went offline. Edit: hey it's back and I totally saw a ladyboy sitting on the floor. A little sad that I missed all the HK crazy earlier but this is making up for it.

Yo when I try to watch the WCS qualifier it says offline, how are you watching it?
