All of those results are with 4x MSAA, so it would be better to see some non-AA or FXAA results. It is pretty ridiculous seeing only 780 SLI managed an average of 60 FPS at 1600P, 4x MSAA or not.

And Battlefield 4 is being optimized for AMD so one would assume it's going to be very well threaded or at the very least use four cores.

I always thought they were sloppy as I've really grown accustom to BenQ Also, is this video card good enough?

Microcenter isn't available in Europe. 4570 cannot be overclocked so pairing it with a relatively high-end board that is designed for overclocking is a waste of money. There are much better memory kits on Newegg for less. 64gb SSD, seriously?????????? CX600... seriously?????? As for BenQ, yes their XL2420T is good.

Overall, we think his suggestions of these are valid: CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor Gigabyte: GA-H87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (changeable for cheaper) GFX: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB Video Card Case: Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case PSU: Corsair CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply (changeable for cheaper) Montior: BenQ XL2420T 120Hz 24.0" Monitor So the memory and the PSU, I'm willing to change for cheaper and I think the GFX looks ok, do I really need 4 gigs of VRAM? I changed MoBo to H87 So with that, I need to figure out Harddrive(s)/SSD, a second monitor of 24-inches that looks very similar to the BENQ, it will be for browsing, so it doesnt have to be top of the line It just has to aesthetically look similar otherwise my head explodes.

The v4 is a terrible SSD (it's not the same model as m4, i've seen people confuse it) and 770 for $450 just isn't a great price, the 2gb version already has difficulties keeping pace with price:performance of the etc 7950, and 4gb is a ton more expensive. Not sure off the top of my head how much in the US, but when i bought my card, it was £329 for 2gb version, ~£410 for 4gb. If you're maxing new games you need the VRAM but not the 120hz - if you're not, you don't need the VRAM. Pick one, and i would consider it incredibly wasteful to miss out on important upgrades (such as cpu oc) to upgrade the quality of your secondary monitor, and especially get 120hz, that's kinda crazy. You marked "changeable for cheaper" on the RAM and PSU, it's not really even that. You can often get much better RAM for the same price, and you have listed a not-great-quality 600w PSU with a system that consumes like 250w With a $1.5k build and microcenter prices, i'd expect two highish end GPU's and/or cpu overclock, you don't have either. There are monitors to take into account, but no need to spend $540 on them. I threw up build list for unlocked i5 + h100 + two 680's (same gpu as 770) + good case (spending extra), 120gb samsung 840 ssd, 500gb HDD, 8gb 2400 RAM for literally 1300 euro, and i'd expect anybody in the US and near a microcenter to destroy standard UK pricing or at least match deals, it's insane the kind of deals you guys have over there. Where are the z87x-ud4h+4770k's for $274 usd total etc? You should be able to get insane pricing from microcenter.

So what I do is consult 4 different places, cross-reference, check reviews of parts all at the same time until I get a consensus that seems to make sense. I'm having huge trouble knowing who knows what and how much without burdening every community with constant questions and to hold my hand.

Battlefield 4 will be AMD optimized so yes it's probably a good idea to get a 7970. Microcenter is also not available anywhere but the US so when someone suggests you Microcenter pricing which is roughly $50 less than other retailers than ya :| If you also look at reviews, a single GTX 770 uses nowhere near 500w so suggesting 650-750w is rather wasteful. 650w-750w is okay if you intend on doing SLI but I think all H87 boards do not support SLI. And a CX600 does not belong in a high-end build. It's okay to ask a bunch of questions because we were all once newbies as well.
