No reason as of yet for the title. Just thought it sounded nifty at first thought. I hope everyones summer has been wonderful so far. Tucson summers are not anywhere near the top of my lists of places to be during this time.
The kids are back in school one in HS and one in 1st grade its so crazy. They are doing so well! My wife is starting to get ready for the upcoming year here at the UofA with more responsibility's and time commitment. Leaving me to try to keep the house in order and do cooking and trying to get this balloon thing rolling.
The Disney land trip was great! Made balloon gear for myself and my daughter everyday. We have so many pictures from Disneyland/California Adventures. The kids had a blast as did Jen and I as well. I was sad to have had the Thunder Railroad closed. And I was unable to meet up with anyone from TL I have meet before though I was able to have two forum members join me for the Magic Castle dinner.
If you have ever been to the Magic Castle you know its a old Mansion with all kinds of nooks and cranny's, secret rooms , and playful interactive things and art, posters, and props from some of magics greatest names. There are 4-5 bars (depending on the night they have more or less open) As well as plenty of performance areas around for the impromptu show.
We finally arrived, late for dinner, damn LA and my gps. There was myself, Brian( a Buddy of mine) and Mike and Jeff some guys from the forum who had msged me here saying they were interested. We were seated right away and had drinks brought and chatted a bit while eating some bread. I had the Vegi dinner it had a fancy name but it was just an avocado wrap. I was more interested in getting a ticket for the stage show (only with entree) . After dinner we tried catching the shows throughout the night. The stage show was fun with some good laughs, and some interesting bits. I really did not enjoy as much the parlor show, seemed rather standard tricks and delivery. Nothing that spoke to the individual I saw performing.. The close up show we managed to get to see (out of the 2 performers) Had some very nice routines but it being a Monday (start of the new shows in the Castle) they were not as polished as one would have seen otherwise. I had a blast exploring the castle and getting to know Jeff and to a lesser extent Mike (he was wondering around/ Womanizing?) And having the chance to take Brian. No matter the show I always enjoy my time spent there. I hope I can take some more of you with me on my next trip.
Sadly they allow absolutely no pictures inside here is the one and only from the night Brian (Herme The Clown) and I.
Getting home was crazy. I feel into a funk and was really down for a few weeks. hardly any motivation etc. I wont bore anyone with the details. But I am trying to take some supplements and improve my diet and exercise and my doctor has recommended I start looking into seeing a therapist. It seems like its been a hard past couple months for many of us here and I wish you all the best and happiest to come!
I am excited!! Today I booked a confirmed big job which may even double in price ( and work lol) I also got another gig booked that is a nice chunk to add to the family funds. Do not get me wrong I am getting busier and busier but it is by no means even providing what I need to atm. The family relies heavily on Jen and her job, and insurance. I am hoping to see an increase in both my productivity and biz in general once we start heading more into Fall weather.
Sometimes life is hard being so much of a dreamer and not enough of a doer. I hope I can overcome any limitations and imaginary boundaries Ive created for myself.
I hope I get to meet each of you one day and have at the least a smile for one another. And if by chance we do not get that chance, Ive left a huge smile for you here.
FuDD.
If you look at any Birthday thread recently you'll see many if not all of these but here are a couple balloons.. What would my blog be without at least one !!
