i think he's just a silly guy that likes to celebrate. he shouldnt have gotten near savior but i really doubt he was taunting him in any way. and game 1 was just so damn impressive... i mean come on, nobody expects savior to lose an epic match like that. that's where savior thrives. even when the first 15 mins dont go savior's way, he'll still rape in the next 15. i like savior but i also really like fbh. don't hate on him people!

ceremony
FBH is getting worse than Chalrenge. I really like him and his ceremonies, but he's basically telling every progamer to target him
|
yeah i don't think he means anything bad by the ceremony... misunderstanding, that's all

Most of the ceremonies I've seen have been really lame. They're worse than the celebrations that go on after a touchdown in American football. At least football players commit to their celebrating and look like they enjoy it-- korean progamers usually look like they'd rather be hiding behind a desk than doing their ceremony. Like someone double-dog-dared them to do it, so they do it very awkwardly. There's some exceptions. Nada's I-got-3-pin-gimme-a-fourth ceremony looked natural and appropriate. The Savior ceremonies I've seen seem fine, too. Even Boxer's dorky ceremonies (salutes, pulling an ace card) are good compared to most of the weird crap I've seen recently (midas, omg!).
The victory lap and wobble "dance" FBH pulled off wasn't the worst of them, but I think it was still really bad.

the silly ceremony doesn't make me dislike fbh really, it just makes me think he is rather a silly boy that is good at starcraft. Had a lot more sypmathy for him before that goofy show... and i think it wasn't on purpose, but doing a ceremony and getting near your opponent is either bm or stupid. Unluckily i think it's the latter... *sigh

His ceremony certainly put a negative to his victory over Savior; I personally didn't mind it much, but the controversy it seems to have stirred up makes it hard to enjoy his awesome play. I still like FBH though, hope he makes it to the finals.

His ceremony has made him look stupid. I don't care if it was bm, etc., but it just looked stupid, period. He had it planned fyi, as he does say in his interview, he took the example from you know who, and he says himself he didn't succeed in doing a good dance so w/e...lol.

Circling savior mightve drew negative attention, but it was stupid already anyway.

He executed it fine i thought, it was just so damn stupid. I respect FBH as a powerful terran right now, but i dont like him now cause what he did was so dumb. Midas's Ceremonies are executed badly, but they weren't as bad as taht. Thats why i like Midas, even more so, because hes really shy and hardly can pull those ceremonies off. I feel bad for sAviOr, and FBH needs a ceremony coach plz.

What's wrong in giving out some emotions after such a challenging match ... he was just very happy about his success, especially in consideration of the fact, none believed he actually could do that.
GG FBH, great victory. By the way ... 1 Z less in the Tournament :-)

my thoughts, was very dam stupid but i didnt see it being as bm as many made it seem to be

I was happily downloading the MSL ro8 VODs and then I casually glanced to the right to see "BraQ's Ceremoney".

I pay to be entertained. Firebathero entertained me. Good job, firebathero.

these ceremonies are become more childish as time goes on -_________-
i miss the old, simple gestures that really show the player's triumph after an epic fight

That's exactly why some of us consider it stupid. He is not showing he feels happy, but doing something rather silly just because he knows the camera is focused on him and people expect to see him happy/do ceremony. Worse, he is copying what someone else does (aka, zeus and chalrenge that do them because they feel good doing it), so he is not even original. He might even feel awkard about it, like Midas (lol). For the nature of the game it is expected that the player won't burst into joy when victory comes because it is expected by that time (not like football or other sports). That it's not physical helps too.

I actually kinda lost my respect for my lethargic terran after this...
I do understand the fact that winning a bo5 in an MSL vs savior may be exhilarating and all, but...
Why THAT? If FBH was going to do a victory dance, I at least would expect something that's not so silly. At least choose a dance that looks like a dance rather than a 5-year old pretending he's an airplane. Just my 2c :o

If I was able to be savior, i would do that to ^_^
btw zeus is a example of manner ceremonies :-)
