I understand why it sets one of you lane behind having to deal with someone who just got 300 gold and double buff, but I'm not sure how that sets you behind yourself. The death timer is super short and unlike a laner, you're not losing xp to your tower as you're dead. You got the gold and xp from both buffs, you shouldn't be that much behind the ennemy jungler.

I don't know, I've just found it really hard to catch back when the jungler gets the huge gold and buff advantage - not to mention they can usually follow up with taking jungle camps.

Getting killed as a jungler when you just got your double buff isn't all THAT bad. The best way is to look for ganks and grab a kill or an assist, especially if you are a stronger ganker like Xin Zhao.
Here's my question. In Silver league, how on earth do you counter a counter-jungling nunu? Now he's just a first ban in ranked solo-q's for me. Allies either take too long to come help or they lack CC so nunu just runs away with ridiculous move speed.

Play a jungler that can't be counterjungled.
How he going to counterjungle an Udyr that has no creeps to steal, an Udyr that will just kill him if he walks into his jungle?

There's a lot to dying even once as a laner or a jungler. You start to get behind in levels, if you gank, you just fall behind even more. Ideally your lanes don't need ganks but sometimes they do.
Ideally you don't die. But if you do die in the jungle, doublebuffs or not, you just try to come back. There's no magic to it. Some junglers are less reliant on buffs than others. If you're fiddle you'll probably have to come back with mana pots and trade gold for levels whereas someone like Lee could still clear just fine without altering his build.
If you died to a counterjungle then you'll need to set up wards for future invades. Try to be self reliant and don't die again. The enemy jungler can take wraiths from you 8 times and as long as your team gets one kill on him, they get the gold back.
Having your laners come babysit you will just cause a ripple effect where they have to expend mana, health, time (gold and exp) and fall behind as well.

It's the "just try to come back" I'm struggling with, I feel like ganking when put behind this much early to be a great risk for both me and the laner -- especially if I'm against a strong counterganker. Should I focus a bit more on farming my jungle than normally in the early death scenario, or just try to camp a lane to give my laner the advantage I lost - mentality, kill/assist or just the lost CS his opponent will gain?
|
In my opinion, camping in that situation is absurdly dangerous. You are weaker then the enemy jungler. If you camp a lane, that can easily turn into a 2v2 if you have limited vision. You really shouldn't change too much, except reevaluating that you want to avoid situations that lead to a 2v2. That means farm, take the good ganks, and don't get counterganked. The same thing you always want to do.

So basically just play better than before? :-P

Okay so I have a question regarding spellvamp/lifesteal
If I'm playing an AD caster (For example Darius) and then I cast a spell that does physical damage (I.E. Decimate) would that proc spellvamp or lifesteal?
I guess what I'm asking if spellvamp is exclusive to AP damage and lifesteal is exclusive AD? Or is it that Lifesteal is for all auto attacks and spell vamp for all damaging spells?
|
Spellvamp works on activated items, summoners, and champion abilities. That includes physical damage abilities, true damage abilities, etc.
Lifesteal works on autohits.
There are also some spells that don't agree with that (Ez Q, GP Q), but in general this is true.
|
And what about passives? Do those work with spell vamp as well? I'm guessing so.
Thanks for the lightning fast response by the way.

|
Basically, every damage skill that doesn't proc on-hit effects uses spell-vamp.

Hey to you ADC players out there I have a question for you:
Do you guys prefer to start a Doran's Blade or a longsword and two health potions? Is one better than the other?
Personally I like my longsword as it starts me on my build sooner, but I'm really thinking as Draven I should be starting Doran's Blade first.
|
Doran's blade. If you autoattack 44 times, that's 220 health combined with the +80 health that you get from the doran's blade itself makes up for the 2 potions you would have had. It doesn't work as well in solo lanes, because you dont have a support trying to give you space to autoattack creeps constantly.

Question TL I got a computer that can play lol at a decent fps. As in not 9 fps for teamfights. I wanna get Lolreplay or some similar application. But i think there website is down. Any suggestions.

Are there any situations where health regen quints would be a good choice?
