The fact that Psychographics seems doable now is all the better. There are a lot of players here in Portland that are super excited about Psychographics with the new set. I personally feel like it's kind of a trap, but I'm sure I'm going to lose to it next month, It is looking stronger than ever.

I've built decks testing the idea but it was always so clunky, even with Datapool.

I've never used PG before. :X I've built decks testing the idea but it was always so clunky, even with Datapool. Idk too focused on tons of tags, and not enough of a focus on other things. Cards like Psychographics, midseason replacements, sea source and big brother can just sit in your hand and do nothing, while your opponents are advancing their economy and game plan. There can definitely be decks that make it work, and like I said, when it does work it can be very effective. I'm just imagining from those forum/facebook posts, decks piling with do nothing cards and not enough economy/ice, proactive cards(some of these cards are too relying etc. Also how do you fit in closed accounts too, I love that card .

If HB sets the bar, what do the other three really want the most in future expansions? I feel like Jinteki is in a good spot, at least with PE. I haven't played Jinteki RP at all so that's still an entirely new side of Netrunner for me. NBN feels like its most lacking though, for reasons I've mentioned above. The main problem with NBN is its lack of synergy. I mean isn't it kind of ironic how usage of NBN ice is so prevalent in other decks while vertical NBN is about bluffing and FA while keeping the runner out as much as possible. Data Raven is more powerful on Weyland than it is on NBN, Tollbooth is more powerful on HB than it is on NBN, and its primarily due to income. The biggest problem right now is that NBN core heavily relies on traces. The only problem is, NBN never has any money so the traces always get eluded for almost no cost, if you do bother to waste all of your income on traces, then you have no follow up. First of all NBN could really benefit from some economy ice. A stronger popup window would be nice, I mean why the hell is Caduceus not on NBN, when Weyland shits money every time it does anything. Currently the way runner tackles NBN tactics is the exact opposite of what really should be happening. NBN should be about making the runner deal with always being tagged, not forcing them to pay them off as such. Its far too easy to avoid them, and even when you do get tagged its never so bad that you can't get rid of them. If the runner spends his time clearing tags he should get anything done, meaning that he has to live with them, in that situation the requirement that NBN needs ETR ice, economy and fast advance agendas in order to be viable becomes negligible. I think this is the way NBN was supposed to be, but it never ended up happening. However the up and coming expansion seems to cover this somewhat. The runner constantly being tagged would allow NBN to control the pace of the game and instead of playing reactively, NBN gets to play proactively because he is forcing the runner into certain situations. With scorched this could be a little overpowered but then again NBN has no ETR (for the sake of this example) so the runner does have a lot of options. Then instead of giving NBN expensive tier 1 ice it can't use, it should be satisfied with shitty everything, when you know that the runner cannot install resources and will always be in a situation which fits you. "Oh that's a pretty fat kati *TRASH, now if you want to get my agenda, you can have 4 more tags while I get money from econ ice, oh bank job, CLOSED ACCOUNTS" I mean who needs ice when the runner has no money or resources. currently it works a little that way, but against a good player, you will never find yourself using NBN event cards at a time which really suits. You won't even see Psychographics once in a blue moon, because its impossible to get more than one tag on a runner.

You just end up with a hand of psycho, closed, BB and two agendas and you can't do anything with any of them

They're all reading the rules and stuff this weekend. Edit: Should say, if you know the rules to NetRunner, I can walk you through OCTGN np. Just watched the tutorial video so I have not fully understood all the rules. Will try to get OCTGN working and try to read some more about rules while playing. Would be nice to get a channel if that is possible within OCTGN so we can play between us, especially if there are a bunch of complete noobs to the game between the LoL pack.

Although he wasn't at last tournament cause he was sick. I think he's got pretty good odds at winning our regionals, I won't be there afterall..(jk). I think it's strange he thinks midseason replacements is a 4/5 I'm not sure it's that good since it is really dependent on the right chain of events to work.

The more I look at Eli, the more I get mad at HB. Suchhhh a gud Ice. :< I'm surprised he put Corporate War so low. I think I like it more than something like Corporate Retreat.

No don't talk with him often, have only played with him two separate occasions now(really nice guy though), just thought it was funny you mentioned him since he is local for me. But since he is part of the netrunner community here I'm sure I will see him again soon(maybe tomorrow idk if he is coming for saturday netrunner session). I love Eli, can't get mad at HB it's 1 influence!!! . I think corporate war is ok, I didn't see his rating but there are oftentimes where I score an agenda with less than 7 credits in my bank, and we all know that coming up from 0 credits is a pain, maybe that's his reasoning. I personally have a few decks that probably want it in it. I can imagine a weyland deck with corporate war and the hostile takeover card, maybe government contracts too, being interesting using your agendas to fuel an economy, you still need some economy cards of course, like transactions(got to pay for ice and advancement counters after all), but it will lessen the need for using economy assets etc, freeing up deck space.

With them both being Barriers and 1 influence to splash, I guess it comes down to do Corps want to use Ice Wall or Eli. I'll probably still stick with Ice Wall. You could spend 4 for NBN and get 2 Ice Walls and 2 Elis I suppose, since NBN's Barrier options are limited to TMI and Static.

Replies here or via PM would be appreciated. Thanks! I don't live in the UK however I also struggled to find places to buy cards, especially getting every expansion and cores. If you can't find what you need, you can buy off Amazon which is what I did for all my cards.
