False equivalency is fucking awesome right? Lets you strawman your way out of every situation. Call me when I spend hours making a piece of content designed specifically to shit on one person for the sole purpose of getting a little bit of e-fame. Then we can talk about how much of a hypocrite I am. This guy is an asshole, not to mention creepy as hell for spending so long in the creation of this. Well, yeah, he's a wee HS kid, which means he is by definition a little bit of an egotistical asshole (though I am 100% sure he knows he's shitty at the game given his self-deprecatory remarks).
On the other hand you're an adult, so people naturally assume you're going to be mature about these things, even if a wee HS kid is not.
Well, you're certainly well within your rights to demand an apology. I'm sure Azera will give it, which is more than what you do yourself in certain situations.
NOTE: Azera, if you don't give an apology, I will demand one myself since you'll have made me look stupid.

Although TB didn't take it that way, I don't think anyone else here thought that this was somehow some way to degrade TB. It was just a joke with no actual meaning behind it.
If we can't laugh at ourselves...

If anyone's to blame, it's me for coming up with the thread title. I assume that part is what TotalBiscuit is ornery about, even though it was intended purely as an attempt at humor and meant no malicious intent. Azera just used it because he (and I) thought it was funny.
So, sorry about that, TB. I'll try to be more diplomatic in the future.

Not very funny... Nothing witty, just many screenshots of a famous personality losing, with a rude title and trying to make TB look bad. A different title, and a more lighthearted tone in the captions would maybe make it good.

Holy shit lol, didn't expect this to happen in the end hahahahahaha

I retract my comment after having been bothered to actually read his battle report, i just read the title and assumed it was meant for funnies.
In fact i didnt realise who the blogger was, Azera has always been a bit of a douche.
It makes me look a fool for posting without reading but whatever, sorry TB, i was wrong ^^

this went from being "oh he played tb thats neat" to cool as hell in one post man

Is there a minimum number of people who have to be entertained by content produced by someone for it to be worth their time? You have videos that only a few hundred people watch, does that mean you are wasting you time with those? If he enjoys what he is doing and other people enjoy consuming that content is it really a waste? You would have disagreed with your post before your videos went viral.
You mean tens to hundreds of thousands of people. Lol.
Love it how people feel the need to be so aggressive and hateful towards one of the most valuable contributors to the esports scene and just gaming in general. Stay classy internet.
Gratz Azera you got your 15 minutes of fame for more than just pretentious pseudo-philosophical blogs.

Everyone wanna piece o somma dat e-fame

Hahahaha. I hate TB. This just confirms that he's as big of douche as he seems like on every broadcast.

I would be mad too if i was a popular caster, someone calls me out as a total noob and it turns out to be true on top of that. :D
It wouldnt be so embarassing if you could take it with humor. A better reaction would be to just say how it is, "im a total noob at the game but im fun at casting. Whatever, i dont take myself too seriously"
Personally I wouldnt dare to cast, if i had no clue about the game, but you know, there are different kinds of casters for different people. So its all good.

Hahaha great fun blog, kinda expected the comments.
|
The title is pretty fucked up, but the blog its self was funny.
|
To be fair on TB, the blog does err on the edge of being funny and just being plain offensive.

Do you realize SC2 casting is only a very small fraction of what he does? Do you realize this man has put a lot of his own money into sponsoring tournaments, players (BlinG, CranK) and now a pro team as well? That he makes extremely well-put-together and informative content about the gaming scene, on a regular basis?
TB worked his ass off to get to where he is now and keeps working his ass off to maintain this position and further help the scene grow. I can definitely see where he's coming from, when egotistical fucking pricks who have probably been following esports for 1 or 2 years at most come here with a "holier than thou" "lol this guy is bad" attitude like they actually know shit or they are actually worth shit. Guess what? They're not.
Nobody says you have to enjoy his casting or content, but if you deny how much he's helped the scene grow and develop, you're a moron. There's really no way around that.
EDIT:
And I just gotta stress this again. I find it hilarious how most of these haters are very new to the esports scene, SC2 probably being their first esport. Guess what. StarCraft 2 does not constitute the epitome of competitive gaming.

How is your post connected to mine, sir?^^ Can you point out where i denied him anything except being a good player? Which is not a crucial necessity for a caster. People get butthurt over nothing on the internet. :D We have a saying in Germany: "Humor is if you laugh nevertheless" That was the entire point of my post.
