I do have respect for people that work really hard for what they love, doesn't mean I can't poke fun at the people I respect when they have clearly overreacted. Seriously, the op wasn't seriously malicious at all, if he was this would have been closed and he would have been banned. It was just a fun topic. TB is the one that had the choice to take it offensively or not. He just as easily could have just said "it was a good game! =)".

Why would he. Here we have a little guy wanking off to himself because he won a terribad plat level game against a popular community figure who happens to play at his level. Big deal lol. I find TB's comment totally appropriate.

Is there a minimum number of people who have to be entertained by content produced by someone for it to be worth their time? You have videos that only a few hundred people watch, does that mean you are wasting you time with those? If he enjoys what he is doing and other people enjoy consuming that content is it really a waste? You would have disagreed with your post before your videos went viral. You mean tens to hundreds of thousands of people. Lol. Love it how people feel the need to be so aggressive and hateful towards one of the most valuable contributors to the esports scene and just gaming in general. Stay classy internet. Gratz Azera you got your 15 minutes of fame for more than just pretentious pseudo-philosophical blogs. ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) Not all of his videos get the big numbers, his sc2 channel frequently has a few hundred views on a video, and I was no more aggressive and hateful than he was. If you guys didn't recognize that humor was the intent of the blog, that is not Azera's fault. Actually that is very much his fault. Just because someone declares certain intent behind a creation doesn't mean that will or should be the ultimate public interpretation.
100% agree. To me the blog felt like the ultimate gloat fest, especially with the remarks regarding TB's mistakes in that game. I don't care whether the intention was jest, it all feels quite demeaning.

I find TB's comment totally appropriate. Exactly. TB isn't even a pro player. This is fucking platinum for God's sake. That is about as low as you can get in this game and this guy is making a huge deal over beating a guy who clearly has too much other stuff going on to get better at the game. If i were a master of GM player beating a pro (isn) player such like Incontrol for instance and they were respectful about it then it would be a cool thing to post. This however is just pathetic. I don't think it's making a huge deal over anything. When someone says, "I open standard 15 hatch because I saw JD do it once on stream," and, "I went ling-muta-bane 'cause NesTea had success with it," it's clearly tongue-in-cheek and poking fun at the entire idea of "doing what pro-players do even though you're in plat and your mechanics suck."

Oh my goodness he beat a personality in a melee game and posted a br blog about it, let's get the vapors about this impertinent commoner daring to make mirth on the back of his better.
This isn't Victorian England guys.
BONED 8.5/10 still. May brs live long!

Its about the way he did it. As long as its respectful, I would agree with you. But this is pure mockery, poorly veiled by the pretense that its all in jest etc.
Imagine you're a popular caster with his hands full of casting work etc and just want to ladder a bit to relax, only to find random people posting funny blogs mocking your play on TL the next day. Theres always two sides of a coin, remember.

If the caster that I'm imagining my self to be is successful with one million subscribers I could not possibly care less what a random person online said about my level of play. You could wake me up every single morning by punching me in the face and I'd still be beyond happy in those shoes.

So you think being a popular caster with one million subscribers makes you some kind of superhuman immune to critique and other unpleasantries? I can guarantee you that if I punched you in the face every single morning youd be willing to delete your yt channel as long as i stopped.

Sorry but /facepalm. It's not about the INTENT, its about how it presents itself to the average reader that does not know what azera's actual intent at the time was.
