Lucic happened just some days before the GM meeting where they decided that such action should be penalized so its not fair to compare something that happened before and after that decision. Edler knew about the current ruling and still caused that to happen so imo a game should've been fair atleast, and not having a problem with 2 either. Also didnt Shaw get like 3 games for similar collision?

He's getting ready for the move and what a frigging game tonight between Boston and Montreal. I was rooting for Boston because they have more games in hand and I rather face the Habs in the playoffs compared to the Pittsburgh or Boston. Great back and forth game but Jesus Boston. Don't take a page out of the Maple Leafs by not closing the damn game! Two stupid penalties in a row. Got to love Coby Armstrong drawing that one on Chara though. Kid still got it! As for the Leafs, now I know why Carlyle sent Gardiner down in the first place. He's looked really shaky in the last three games. I think that lost time with that concussion set him back a little. It's scary watching him and he's messed up so many plays, ugh. At least he knows how to get his shot through all the bodies. I'll give him credit for that, but his confidence just isn't there yet. I'm sure he'll regain it in time. I just hope it's sooner rather than later. Not easy being a Leaf fan. Getting really mad watching the boys play because they're really struggling in many aspects of their game.

Unconfirmed but BOS-CGY appears to be Khokhlachev/Bartkowski/conditional 1st round pick for Iginla. 1st rder conditional on Iggy re-signing. lol?

And Holy shit.. Go Habs !!! That game was so good, I was 100% sure we had lost the game at 4-2 and Price out. What a comeback !

Doesn't that make sense? I mean Iginla's contract is up this year and his family is probably still gonna be in Calgary for a while. I mean if Boston traded all of that and at the end of the year Iginla decides he wants to retire in Calgary, then they will be the laughing stock of the league.

It makes sense for Boston, that they'd retain their pick of Iggy doesn't stay with him. But from what I was reading it seemed like the deal was rumored to be a 1st, regardless of where he signed next year. So even if he went back to Calgary they'd have those players and the pick in what's supposed to be a rebuilding phase for them. It wasn't confirmed though (nor is this yet, technically) so it would've been a bit of a downgrade for Calgary based on what I read. And now he's gone to Pittsburgh out of no where?? Okay, forget all that because it's irrelevant now lol. 1st round pick 2013 Ben Hanowski Kenneth Agostino Confirmed source now Dat drama. Trolled.

I only worry about the expectations that come along with such a line-up...

Pitsburgh has been pulling of some big additions recently... definitely scarey looking.
