It seemed kinda strange that you waited to use it until night four, considering the game was over on night three. yea i thought maybe we had protective powers or something to keep us in the game and i didn't want to use it until i was pretty sure i might be a night hit

Sorry for shooting you Foolish
@whoever said I was chosen for being easily manipulated I had figured that I was probably added by either a third party or scum when I couldn't figure out why I would be added over a stronger player except that they wanted someone who would go with their idea. Obviously it was a good choice since I was all for shooting Crops until Marv convinced me into foolish.

I've read most of the early game, and would like to comment on a few things.
I really feel that part of the downfall of this town was that the thread was moving waaaaay too fast, and that there were too many useless posts (from almost every townie). The game had about 160 pages at the end of D2, which is the most in any TL Mafia game as far as I can remember (Chrono Trigger had about 125 in that time span). E.g. Marv having a 30-page filter at the end of D2; I'm sure he could have easily cut that down to 20 pages without losing any relevant content. That would have been 10 pages less, not including the answers to some of those posts.
Besides the usual problem of having to reread too much stuff and huge filters to dig through, there is also a psychological component for town regarding spam. When I come into the thread in the morning and see 20+ new pages to read (after 10 hours of absence), I'll get demotivated because the thread is moving so fast. If this happens EVERY day I will start skimming the thread instead of properly reading it, and missing a lot of stuff / be unable to properly analyze the game. If I come and it's only 10 pages, that does not happen as easily. And I'm speaking raw page numbers here, you could have the same content in 10 pages (consolidated) instead of 25, and my attitude towards the game would still be more positive because it SEEMS to be an overviewable amount of content.
It is my opinion that the TL Mafia Meta has become much spammier in the (rather short) time I've spent here. More small posts with barely any content cluttering up the threads, and mostly coming from townies. This is something that really has to change, as it makes it hard to play properly for town generally, and for people who do not have that much time on their hand especially (or who do not want to spend more than 1-2 hours a day).
Town attidude: As Kurumi already said, too many people were too confident and shouting at each other pointlessly. Marv/Vivax come to mind at first, but others were guilty as well. Of course you want to look confident with your reads, else you won't be able to push them. But if people grow so confident that it borders on arrogance and ignore the arguments of others, they are hurting town, not helping. I know some of you guys are really good at this game, but it does not mean you are never making any errors.

i knew something was wrong with hiro/ver... i should have based my reads on that :-( Not really, if scum-foolish played like that it wouldn't be strange for scum to choose not to stick their necks out. Though I'm cursing myself with the same thing about marv. I didn't really think he was scum but his reads just seemed so crappy and I it didn't feel like his usal game (I also missed that he was playing another game simultaneously). I had prplhz as town and acrofales as scum and austin as probable scum before I rebased a scumteam on marv-hiro-darthpunk.

"Someone had to be him..."
Whatever.

Wait... there was no Ace in this game and we didnt get him as a fakeclaim?! Booooo I wanted to claim Ace!!!

RPing iGrok was hard, because the only real posting style I know about him is that he played HRM in hex, which I probably would have done if I was around on D1, but starting D2 would have gotten me lynched wayyyyy too fast.
I made a few posts in all caps about how people were spamming up the thread, and I called people stupid (but I do that myself too), so my RPing was very lacking this game. I had high hopes, but my being away D1 and being scum besides kinda screwed that up. I was totally going to claim Neutral Balrog and then direct people to stand in Tornados and yell at them and tell them they were going to take damage for screwing up the plan. I was also going to threaten with a giant magic combo deck. None of it happened coz I was scum and wanted to play it safe

Just got through obs QT, BC too baws. BC, can I ask why you were scummy on me before D3? I would agree that we all went wonky going for the flawless and did a bad job of outing ourselves, but you were on my case before that? I feel like I absolutely didn't comment on my teammates, which may have outed me, and also that I posted things like thread police posts, but didn't fully back them up by trying to organize town. D3 and beyond I don't think I scummed well, but I thought I'd been alright before that point.
<3 reading gonzaw's obs posts. Really wish gonzaw or BH would have been real roles, they'd have been quite fun to get.
sorry kita for not following through and going full troll at the end of D3. But at least I stayed true to your personality and SOMEHOW DID NOT GET ELECTED WHILE RUNNING FOR MAYOR UNOPPOSED. It was almost too perfect
Also, I gotta know whether crossfire actually got his rb message or not. I was so proud to FINALLY get to post that video, because the stupid commercial song plays in my head every time I read a post of his.
Overall, I guess enough has been said of how this game played out. From D2 onwards, we really just sat back and did some very minor pushing of buttons and let the thread go where it was going. I'm not certain whether that was a great call from us, would be interested in hearing thoughts from folks who weren't mafia this game. Apart from us all getting lazy D3 and pushing for the flawless, anything MAJOR that we slipped up in doing as a team?

Hahahaha @austin's mayor campaign. Austin you are my scum MVP, I didn't suspect you at all until after I got killed. Of course I didn't strongly suspect any of the actual scum but you got me to think you were town
I didn't really try and role play, I figured just staying involved would be enough to keep me occupied after not playin for like three months.
I liked my role, but it was unlucky that the first two people to die both had hidden components to their roles. I started assuming that I did as well, so I moved my death prediction off of BC and onto Foolishness because I thought I might be a secret vig or CPR doc or something. If I'd stayed on BC I would've survived an extra day (and probably voted for foolishness again or vivax T_T)

Sorry for sucking. I played completely terrible this game. GG though.

HiroPro had to send erotic messages to RB. We thought you might be the inventor, so blocked you with:
"It's just you and me tonight, I whisper, as I put some sexy music on repeat and settle down onto the bed. The muscles inside the deepest, darkest part of you clench in the most delicious fashion. Your insides practically contort with potent, needy, liquid, desire. We pick up the rhythm...up, down, up, down...over and over...and it feels so...good. Between my panting breaths, the deep down brimming fullness...the vehement sensation pulsing through me that's building quickly, I watch you, our eyes lock, and I realize, finally...I got caught up in the Crossfire."

Is that the music you really think of when you read my posts? That's hilarious.

You know, I tried to read it. I couldn't get past the first page it was so badly written. I did however listen to this which you should go listen to right now.

GG scum. Not much else to add, it's what it was.
Especially austin I had as town he reminded me a lot of his town self in LIX where I actually thought he could be scum for his longish posts initially. He has this talent to write tons of stuff about something which could be summarized in one sentence.
And Mocsta obviously I had put him into the town category during N1 and not really considered him anymore though. Should really have noticed that, but too busy with marv.
