Constantly talking about widow mines and medivacs being a PROBLEM vs Protoss. Like it HAS to be changed. Reapers vs Zerg are TOO good. I haven't seen pro games where this stuff is even close to being a problem yet Can't have terran be to good or else they can punish greedy play. Zergs are entitled to 3 quick bases with no ways to punish it from P or T.

Not if its so extreme and also in the beta. But otherwise I may have been upset. I was rather upset by the sheer amount of puns he made, they nearly ruined the casting...

Like he'd just say "ruin" when it was appropriate, not emphasize the word, and Wolf wouldn't even react. As far as reapers go, why shouldn't casters be allowed to talk about the game's balance? That's not necessarily complaining, it's commentary and if the Zerg wins it adds a story to the narrative of the game because the Zerg overcame inherent adversity. In my opinion it adds excitement.

I was quite pleased with how MMA used reapers, widow mines, and hellions to contain creep spread for a while, and exercise the Zerg's multitasking.

Just as long as they don't ruin the cast. + Show Spoiler + See what I did there?

I have absolutely zero problems with discussing balance, but when you do it in every single zerg versus terran it really starts to bother me. here is a direct quote from last night, (not these matches, but last night, he did the same thing.. every zerg vs terran) "But, byul is actually going for a pool before hatch. This helps him with the queen, it doesnt help him with the speed, and you NEED speed to deal with reapers, so the later gas is a bit weird (side bar. he's doing 14p, 16h... wouldn't taking gas before his natural hatchery be weirder khaldor?...) to me right now. I want to see how he is trying to solve this issue because it has really been a problem, dealing with reaper attacks in the early game is not easy, and it always matters how much terran is committing to reapers. is he going 2, 3, 4 reapers?" "In heart of the swarm i have been using 14p into gas before expanding but there is a problem with the delayed hatchery because once terrans economy kicks in, it's really difficult to keep up with this" "you can still go for 14/14 into a baneling bust if you want these options available to you but it's really difficult to find an opening against terran players these days, that's why i'm really excited to see byul go down a different path" essentially talks about reapers from :30 seconds into the cast until 3 minutes. just so everyone knows, jjakji, made one scouting reaper. the CC is delayed, byul kills two scvs building it because the reaper is on the other side of the map .. i mean, there is a narrative you can add, and then there is just straight up bitching and complaining which is what khaldor is doing. i didn't mind khaldor originally but he has slowly but surely become my least favorite caster. i mean really, jjakji made 1 reaper vs pool first, it's notgoing to do anything. i dont understand how he doesn't know this. it's not proxied, it's a normal 12 rax, and he went immediately into hellions after. why spend two minutes discussing strategies that aren't even happening.

Edit: Quite funny though that Khaldor talk about all these "balance problems" like they're obvious and monstrously harmful, while pretending for months that WoL's TvZ is the most balanced match up in the world. God forbid Terran can do anything in any matchup. Edit2: And Ruin looks so good, wtf.

If HotS is half the time like that when the game is a little more figured out, I think we can call it a success. His army was so much weaker, but he managed to continuously avoid big fights while constantly harassing. The gigantic number of DT's and Observers forcing scans instead of mules along with constantly killing SCV's meant MMA just never had a bank. At the end there he struggled to get over 100 minerals. Also, I like how everyone here was talking about IM's protoss lineup being stacked after Ruin's game, then a few days later Squirtle gets picked up. God damn.
