Alas, the end is near, and the dawn of a new beginning, a grand beginning, is nearly here.
Many exciting news have been released in the BW community the past weeks. Proleague's expansion, TLTour3, an old hero's return, and now, the final stage of the Survivor League.
With yesterday's ODT, the final 16 has been decided. At the end of today, so will the final 32 for MSL. Who's up on deck to pass or fail? "He" is back.

An interesting match indeed. MinGu, though he moved from KTF to CJ to perhaps learn the art of zerg from the maestro himself, has failed to show anything beyond mediocre. This is truely his chance to show what he's learned, and prove that his move was not a mistake. Meanwhile we have Freedom.Werra... the WC3 player who saw the error of his ways and changed his profession to Starcraft, the game for men. Surprisingly, he's shown very promising TvZ skills during his preliminary rounds. His other matchups have yet to be tested, but one thing's for sure: he's got a fine TvZ. It's honestly difficult for me to predict the winner. Because statistics of the map and mu has me leaning towards Werra... but for some reason, I feel a pull towards MinGu.
@ Longinus 2
Is there much to say? While Inter.Calm has definately shown more balls than other SouL zergs, he's still got nothing on the emperor. The map says emperor, the matchup says emperor, the fans say emperor.... and with the creation of the ACE team, there's a good chance HE is fairly near his level again.
We'll either see a Boxer TvZ or a TvT. Either way, it looks good for the emperor. Though the emperor hasn't exactly shown stellar performances on this map, it's pretty easy to say that he'll be the favorite. So my guess is that HE will advance with 2 wins.
Again, we're stuck here with a TvZ, or a ZvZ. Should a ZvZ come out, it could go either way. TvZ? Again, could go either way. In all honesty there isn't too much data on these players to really tell who'll have the upper advantage. All I can say is this: who cares? As long as BoxeR's not stuck here, who really cares?
Ok since I've failed to make any real predictions I'm really not sure what mu to expect here. But a ZvT is most likely, logically speaking. ZvT on this map requires lots of multi-tasking technique, like JD, Savior, and YarnC can do. Hmm... I really don't know what to say anymore. As long as we don't see 2 more terrans advance to this MSL, I'm fine.
