Based off this article from MTG http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/fundamentals/23048_SCG_Classic_Creating_A_Fearless_Magical_Inventory.html
I'm sure its been posted on TL before but it got me thinking that perhaps my ego gets in the way of improving the game. Posting out here in public gets this off my shoulders so I can no longer deny these errors.
1) I don't constantly make SCVs. 2) I make too many SCVs (late game) 3) I have terrible army control with higher tier units ravens/ghosts causing me to bumble around trying to stim. 4) I frequently think I'm ahead when I'm not. 5) I frequently lose my scouting scv 6) I get supply blocked 7) I forget to macro when I'm dropping 8) I usually have my army on one control unit 9) I don't control group my ebays/armory religously 10) I don't practice my builds enough before I ladder

Checked your post hoping to see a reference to this article. Was not disappointed. I remember spending an afternoon coming up with about fifty items for my Magic inventory
I'd do one for SC2, but unlike Magic, in SC2 I feel just improving my overall mechanics will fix a lot of these problems, whereas in Magic I benefited more from highlighting my errors, due to the fact that I'm a better Magic player than I ever was an SC2 player, and Magic is more cognitive than SC2. (In the sense that more "skill" in Magic is knowledge-based. Magic doesn't have a focus on mechanics like SC2 does.)

I agree with everything you said above. The core of my problems are mechanics. Just writing down an honest and open evaluation of my play really highlights that I just need to continue to work on basics. I'm sure if I ever graduate from basic mechanics the list could be more about game knowledge rather than mechanics.

Yeah make sure you don't put ravens or ghosts in your bio control group ;]

The stuff imo that should be placed in an SC2 Inventory should be restricted to two types of problems:
A) Mechanical problems with a defined solution. "I only use one control group" is an example of this. "I need to macro better" isn't.
B) Non-mechanical problems that hurt your game significantly and are easy to solve. For example, you keep dropping games in PvZ due to bad FFE timings. That's easy to solve (Either hash out the proper timings, or start 14 Forging for a while) and hurts you a lot (Sometimes you just lose the game straight up). Stuff like "Need to control my initial zealot-stalker poke better" doesn't count: It's a small thing and you'd be better off just working on mechanics.
I'm not a good player, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but that's how I see it. If you want an SC2 Inventory, go with that. Don't make it an authoritative list of all your flaws, make it a list of a few errors that are hurting your game that you want to fix at the time.

I never knew this is what its called. Occasionally I make a short list of things that I need to work on. Currently:
1. Map awareness (I now leave a stalker close to the terran ramp to make sure that i keep on an eye on the mini-map) 2. Drop awareness (I suck) 3. Improve my PvT ( just figured out i can't get away with taking a 3rd with only 3 gateways)
