Day 1 The day was like most that came before it. Got up, spun around in a chair at the office, home to drink, then pass out in a recliner beer in hand. Bloodyc0bbler was living the dream. He had the single most powerful job in the city, as well as the least responsibility. It was a shame people had appeared that seemed to take exception to this. The sound is what awoke him. The door smashed open with a boom. Smashed is a bad word. It more seemed to turn into little splinters. BC looked around for something to defend himself and all he could find was empty beer bottles. He managed to throw one before the two figures that stormed into the room emptied twenty rounds into his chest. It was a much different day for Kurumi. He had been busy making rounds throughout the town. He had heard there were a few citizens that began expressing disdain for how the small town had been run. Kurumi knew from history that every time that discontent had happened in the passed bodies piled up quickly after. He had spent the day tracking down the most likely suspects and began to tail them. It wasn't long until he saw three men meet up and vanish into a house. Kurumi cautiously followed them in and slowly made his way through the house. It was a shame he went slow. Had he quickly chased them as he would of when he was young he'd have escaped the building before it exploded. Bloodyc0bbler the mayor and Kurumi the Sheriff were killed. You now have 48 hours to vote on who the new mayor and sheriff shall be. Voting Thread

Hello fellow townspeople, I am writing from a desolate and close to the sea location slightly south of Rome, called Anzio. I am passing my weekends here, taking a break from my hard studies, and I will contribute my best to hunt scum in this game. I aim to take the seat of Mayor. The person in the picture will be the paragon of my play: Giovanni Falcone, Italy's greatest scumhunter of the past centuries. Since this great man was killed by a violent accident following the explosion of 500 Kg of TNT, I plan to achieve more longevity than him in order to achieve our goals. To do so, I will need bodyguards, I will need influence, and most importantly, I will need this seat to be free of scum to make sure that no corrupt politician will escape the vigilant eyes of our Detective(s). For this I can guarantee if you elect me! My agenda

[ X ] I have read and agreed with the Terms of Service [ FOAD Spammer ] Yes, please send me the daily newsletter of Barilla ##Vote Vivax You seek my trust and endorsement, i seek your clarity of purpose, commitment to that purpose and lack of room to wriggle out of it. You say: "I am no friend of rigid policies" Cool they suck and get gamed easily as soon as there is any one fixed rule... (via a rock paper scissors paradigm) yet you also say... giving these guys, these dangerous vet guys your blessing on a free pass "I am not going to lynch players D1 of whom I know that they are potentially very valuable townies, simply put: Vets." sounds like a rigid policy After LVIII exactly how much can they now shit up the thread D1 on the back of your promise.... You say: "My major influence in steering the outcome of a lynch will be applied to pressure people." I like pressure plays here is one of mine.... Where does the buck stop though? Does it ever stop with you? You say: "You will put responsibility into my hands, and by doing so you realize that I will make use of that responsibility as I see fit. " What exactly is it that goes with responsibility? Can you say.... You say: "I won't be an extra weight for bandwagons, by voting me you trust my judgement," Indeed we will be but how will we judge if we were right todo so... or are you claiming insinuating our mind must be irretrievably conformation biased after this? You say: " and by voting me you acknowledge that I might use my power day 1 to cause the lynch I see as best." I certainly do acknowledge that you may well have the wisdom and skill to choose other than town thinks. What wager were you placing on your call being right again?

i will lynch chezinu that's non negotiable @Vivax Why are you running for mayor? All you say is "I might do this, I might do that, I don't like scum, vote for me." and it seems like you don't know why you are running for mayor either. Why would we put you into office over these vets that you're not going to lynch because of how valuable they are to town?

Can I have the list? well basicly everyone who's considered a vet is an option for me right now, that means I want the towniest out of: Toad, gonzaw, Annul, prplhz, Sandroba, Chezinu (technically speaking that is), maybe BKE and austin idk. I'm not geting voted into office due to paranoia (and hypno-toadish-ness) so that's sadly not an option. If Sandro is town we need to figure that out as quickly as possible and make him mayor though.

So why Chezinu? I wanna see a serious chezinu. Besides, I heard he has pretty good reads. Also, if I recall in his past games I've looked at, anytime he has a blue role he does well

So if your not a VET, and vets are too valuable to let get lynched D1 but they will obviously get nkd pretty fast... how come we are making you mayor again? if you are in your view in the vet league what is your current view on list posts such as this one http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=15025535 personally i find them decidedly anti town, and thus only unscummy(nullish) if I hold the belief the poster didnt know any better. do you hold a rigid policy view on their efficacy. What would you in this game make of player posting this: "Okay, I've been doing a stance analysis on the grush case and here's my promised post:" That says nothing alignment indicative about this game obviously, but it may say something about responsibility and that other thing that goes right along with it. I sheep Toad, even if i needed to find all my own reasons...

I wanna see a serious chezinu. If you want to vote him because you want him to have bodyguards and to have an extra vote, then by all means. But I don't think anyone should actually assume that Chezinu being mayor will mean anything about the way he plays.
