So does anyone actually have any good policy (aka rational reasons) on what we want in a mayor...
What is the risk to a town when they pick a mayor, All I know for sure is I shouldn't be... and why.
Which players, while we are not playing and there is no townie read, involved could be good mayor and why. Is it to you guys just prestige and ego?
Haaaalp, I fell through hole in the flag, I had plan I thought it just went out the window.

For mayor, you want someone who can come up with really good reads. The mayor can speak freely without the fear of death (at least from mafia and vigilantes). The mayor will be able to rally everyone together and start an orderly discussion. With the presence of masons, it is highly likely that they will contact the mayor. The mayor will need to discriminate between the mafia and town. He must choose how much information to pass along to these individuals. The mayor's vote counts more than the average townie, so this discrimination between town and mafia is a very essential skill.
Town shouldn't be to rash to lynch mayor. This has happened all to often.
Chezinu could possibly be a good mayor. He has been know for his lists and as mafia a blue sniper. Though he is often very selfish and speaks in riddles to avoid being killed. He isn't known for pushing his lynches. He mostly lets others do the work, unless he has a special role like detective. However, I believe this would change if he were mayor. The selfish motives that hinders this player will no longer be in his way if he were mayor.

It's very common for people who want to become mayor to run before the game starts. Very rarely are people going to be elected on things that aren't their reputation.

No. besides I was primarily playing different game with fewer more abstract rules... and a wincon (probably not zero sum) + Show Spoiler [WIFOM] + and any extent I was preparing for this LIX game, I was playing for an edge in case I roll town... as scum the more I had STFU and just claim "Meta/learning change" the better. Given the rate at which my meta and learning have changed my play style, IMO the data points I just laid down are way nearer in this game, than my last games meta/style, even if in the pregame I didn't know my alignment at the time. YMMV.

Ok so ,while Chezinu would be fun, new and and chnace to find out whats under the hood with some reputation for getting it right...
Why Sandro? I have not read Sandros games. + Show Spoiler [Edit Now i have] + I'm thinking at sandroba right now. I would like him to answer some of my questions first of course. For your information, I'm a little familiar with his meta and I've played a game with him. Truth being told, Hiro and me decided to kill him N1 so I didn't interact with him so much but enough to know that mafia players shit their pants when he is town

Addendum BWOP, and of course having short listed those candidates it would be effective for town to have as mayor, but only? if the candidate is town... any suggestions how we work out the latter...
or do we rely on the guide meaning the candidates as good skilled townies will rapidly, "Priority #1: Establishing Your Innocence"
The reason I ask is I have voted a number of times and i find listening uncritically without a deep understanding of the process to what the candidates say is the easiest way to get snow jobbed.
besides we are currently playing that more complex game with fewer rules and hidden wincons, gads I love playing the UFO in illuminati
+ Show Spoiler + Yamato77: Very rarely are people going to be elected on things that aren't their reputation. Phew... Glad it wont be for the Lols... cos i knew what was funniest.
