Never seen them live though Thanks man. Your awesome level has increased in my eyes by quite a lot. DKM is my favorite band! They are the best band I have ever seen live because of how they interact with the crowd. You should look up their concert schedule on their website and see if they'll play near you. Their world tour just started! Dude! You're right. They are actually playing two locations really soon that are just a one hour drive away from where I live. Really bad days though (Sunday night / Monday night). I'll see if I can get a day off. That'd be epic. Thanks for the heads up on the tour schedule!!! I wasn't aware their world tour started. No problem. I'm always up for helping people experience DKM live, it's totally worth it.

I've never seen DKM live, but i watched Flogging Molly once (close enough ) and it was great. That music genre just puts a huge grin on my face, love it.

Sweet! The prices for instruments / equipment in general are quite ridiculous when you think about it. Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth to get an insurance...

yea they introduced an indo made line called "premium" at the price point of the old prestige and bumped up the prices of prestige by 500 bucks, which is a fucking terrible deal since you don't even get nice pickups until you drop 3k on a jcustom

Yeah man. Got it on awesome sale too. Still got stock strings on it though because lolpoorcollegestudent, but that's going to change in the next few weeks for sure. Will probably get Flats on it too, give that a nice shot.

Alright, trying to catch up with some responses.
On January 15 2013 22:14 Teoita wrote: Erm that's kind of a tricky question cos we've gone through a shit ton of lineup changes.
I've been playing with the bassist for 3 years now, the other guitarist for one, the drummer for 9 months and we are looking for a new singer.
What do you guys play?
We're playing rock, ska, punk, reggae-ish stuff at the moment. We're all over the off-beats right now. We also cover some pop rock songs that everyone knows. We have just reunited though after many years apart so it's all new and exciting. We're working on a lot of new stuff.
The band: Lead Singer / Saxophone / Keyboard Guitar Bass Drums / Percussion / Background Vocals

To both of you - do you play in a big band, orchestra or ensemble? Have you heard of the band Jethro Tull? They've got a flutist/singer. I've been playing flute for ~10 years; 7 were in a band, the last three have been with an orchestra. Love classical music. Did jazz band my senior year of high school too. Yes!! One of my teachers in high school is a rock enthusiast, and he would always refer to me as "Jethro Tull" in class. X-D
Playing in an orchestra is really exciting. I was in my school orchestra ages ago. I had the best time when we were doing movie soundtracks - absolutely loved it. I don't think I'll ever forget playing timpani for our interpretation of the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. Do you have a favorite orchestra piece?
