Eating - Decent here, but had one day where I ate a decent amount of junk food when the final installment of the Wheel of Time came out and I was ready that. Other than that did fine, still would like to reduce the soda intake a little more. 4-5 per week still a few too many in my opinion.
Down another 2 pounds or so and back under 160 which is nice. 15-20 more to go an we will be ready to roll. It's really funny weighing yourself on the scale each morning as you can easily go two or three days with unchanging weight or weight even increasing, only to have it read, and stay, 3 pounds lower the next day. Guess that is why they tell people not to watch the scale, though if one had to I'd say the best way to do it would be to take a weekly average of all seven daily readings, there should be a clear pattern there.
Running/Fitness - First off. FUCK groin injuries. It's getting better. Slowly. Very Slowly. I'll wait for a week of being able to go normal movements and full range of motion pain free, then a week of two of light rehab, then hopefully start jogging slowly again.
Good job on fitness. Biked around 12 hours/250 miles. Fitness is back to where it was when I got injured 3 months ago. It seems like 180-190 watts is a good, relaxed cruising pace right now, the kind you can ride at for an hour or so and feel refreshed afterwords. It's quite nice to be reaching the point on bike where I feel like I can get the HR up without the legs begging to stop. 230-250 is where I feel like I really have to start working if the ride is longer than 30 or so minutes.
Starcraft - Not to much playing here, though I did get a nice 3 kill in the 3rd place match of DRATL 3rd place match. Gotta step it up. Shooting for at least 30 ladder games this week.
Social Life - Not much here, can't do alot at the moment though as school hasn't started and I don't want to spend the money to drive 40 minutes into town just to hit the bars. Did get out once with friends and just hung out at one of the local bars playing pool.
For the record, it's absolutely hilarious how much people will listen to you if you have a bullhorn. The girl at the pizza place was on the verge of giving us free pizza, and I told some guy to clean the tables off (he hadn't been eating at them) and he just....did it. Wtf?
Priorities - Fairly good here, though it's clear doing the little details right away (immediately putting away clothes, not leaving stuff laying around, is going to take a lot of focus. I'm not dodging or avoiding doing it, sometimes I just don't think to do it. That needs to get in the forefront of my mind. Accomplished the few "big" items I had prompty and efficiently (confirming courts had driver class, course scheduling, job, editing paper for writing portfolio).
Not much to do here, but did get a job working at the desk at my uni which gives me a little income and the freedom to search for a more ideal job (fitness/running/golf).
The key obviously is going to be making sure I don't lose focus, willpower, or discipline before then. Onward!
Song of the Week: Che Gelida Manina
Beauty. That's really the only way you can describe this aria. Beautiful singing, beautiful melody, beautiful poetry. It is one of those songs that just HITS you upside the head emotionally.
I included that version because it had english translations. If you want a clearer, slightly better rendition search: "che gelida manina pavarotti 1979 scala" and click the first link.
