I'm gonna try to play a little more aggressive, while playing passive is easy I don't think it really gets me anywhere. TBH I played a bunch of IRL mafia ipl5 weekend and decided that I'd try to put the effort into playing online how I do irl, and I'm super aggressive irl, I call people out and if I don't know their names I call them by their clothing. I called some guy "jacket fuck" and he got really mad.

I'm going to have to make some larger policy-post regarding game mechanics in a bit. But how y'all doing? I'm interested in this. What policies are you looking to advocate? aside from the one I just mentioned above, I didn't see any kind of setup specific policies that make sense.
Well I haven't come up with any that have made sense yet. I was originally thinking about some sort of blue-claiming/campaigning thing but then I read the 2-shot blue vigi role. It seems the best way to play this is to make things straightforward - keep all blue votes silent and don't talk about them much in the thread. If you do end up getting elected blue and survive the 72 hours, it may very well be worth it to claim after you're safe or something though.

I agree with this. keep blue voting talk out of the thread, at least until they lose their powers.

In terms of other policy-stuffs though, I always love lynching me some lurkers. Hopefully this first hour of the game isn't telling, or there will be a lot of ppl I'll want to lynch.

sup kids. I hate policy talk. That is my policy. I am vanilla town.

Hello guys !
I would like to emphasize something very important for this game.
Never give a single townread this game !
For obvious reasons, because of the Witch Hunter, we should avoid to get a consensus that a player is town. Because if he is town, there are good chances for him to get insta-shoot by the mafia.
On the same note, I don't want to see anybody propose a idea or plan on how to cast our witchcraft votes. Never speak about these votes. Keeping everything for you is the best solution.
Other than that, I would like everybody to give a little hindsight of their game experience, especially newbies, if there are some.
Regarding me, you can find all my previous games on these forums (only forum games I've ever played) in my profile.

town for the millionth time in a row. my rules this game:
1. I will never vote thrawn no matter how scummy he looks. I've been certain and wrong too many times. and I have to live with th regret every day of my life.
2. I will not be discussing game mechanics or setup or anything like that ever. It bores me also I always end up suggesting some really stupid shit.
3. I am going to advocate the systematic extermination of lurkers. Yup I want to lynch unreadables over scmreads. And lurking makes you unreadable and immune to all efforts at scumhunting. Fuck fake pressuring active people.by pretending we might vote them. IF there is a lurker I will push his lynch.

Because mafia tends to do that.

@ Djo
Regarding not mentioning town reads... no way. Scumhunting involves discussion of town-reads by nature. Futhermore, town reads are fairly subjective and generally aren't shared by a playerbase. Living in fear of bluevigis to the point where we hamper our scumhunting is unacceptable policy.

how can we not give townreads if we have townreads on the person the thread is wanting to lynch
there's literally no way to avoid it
