We are extremely glad to announce the reopening of our StarCraft 2 division. First addition to the Absolute Legends new lineup is a former StarCraft: Brood War veteran and the holder of number one European Grandmaster protoss title, Kristijonas "Krr" Barisas.
Krr first touched StarCraft back in 2003. It didn't take him long to discover the competitive scene and in the upcoming few years people started seeing more and more of Krr in various online cups. As StarCraft 2 beta was launched, the Lithuanian talent was scouted by one of the top European gaming organizations, Fnatic. After parting ways with Fnatic back in 2011, Krr roamed the StarCraft 2 scene playing for various smaller European teams including BLAST Gaming and Eclypsia.
Today we are happy to accept Kristijonas "Krr" Barisas into our family and hope to have a successful run!
Statement from Martin "KRAUSBAWS" Krause, General Gaming Manager of Absolute Legends:
"Back to StarCraft! After we lost our last StarCraft player, we decided it is best to concentrate on other things for the time being. Me as a big SC2 fan, was looking all the time for some potentional players, and talked a lot to many players, so I am proud to announce our first Protoss player, Krr! At the moment Krr is placed Top5 in the Grandmaster League, and he is really motivated to become a good and known player. He will also start to stream nearly everyday, so you have the chance to see him develop. The last thing I want to say is that everyone should keep an eye on us and be excited for the upcoming players as we will news it soon. FOR AIUR! "
Statement from Kristijonas "Krr" Barisas:
"I am very glad to be able to join Absolute Legends, and I'm looking forward in our relationship, how we can help each other to grow. I hope some great things comes from this relationship. I will try to use this opportunity as best as I can."
