When I was in By. we were mutual and played often. one of the nice things about koreans is they hate to game foreigners. but if you win they wont stop until THEY win. That of course eventually runs out, when they figure out they wont win much they f r you and ignore you. Then hate you. This is all a generalization but I would contend for the most part it is true.
Ash: Courage is getting easier and easier. Also it is widely accepted that a large part of winning courage is getting a lucky bracket. Additionally, if you havent seen the replays of him that are floating around he is very amazing, even if he was our age he would be considered very good. Pro standards he is nothing (imo) but for a player he is crazy good.
Also, I play a very strange style of zerg generally. I randomly crush good players and lose to complete nubs from time to time. I also get completely dominated by other players just because of style clash. I mostly game on west and I for the most part, do much better vs koreans for w/e reason. Me dominating Sun isnt to much of an indicator as to how good he is. To a certain extent of course it is, but for the most part, not really. He would do fine vs any non korean Z/P/T.

Funny b/c 10 posts in 2 minutes is literally not possible by anyone on these forums, because of flood control. Not even Saro can post that frequently, from what I understand.
I choose to report like this after reading other people's various styles. I found that long posts for reports (ie 10 lines) makes it very hard to gauge the time progress of the game by condensing the actions, making it sound as if everything happened at once. And naturally the beginning of the game (which is when you commented) has a higher frequency of posts, since the moves in the beginning set the flow of the game. When players spawn at positions, there is a pressing need to tell people "right away" so that they can formulate in their brain what sort of things can happen in the game, given those positions. Then the opening builds, where every single building position and supply count is relevant for what is going to happen next.
I catch myself going "oh, pusan builds, nexus gate forge gas cybercore and moves out with 4 zealots" sometimes when i fall behind, and you can imagine how shitty that report is, without any sense for timing or jflow, or what the opponent is doing concurrently.
I've reported for 3 months(?) now and although I'm still learning the fine points, my primary focus is to convey the feel and progression of the game, instead of just the results and happenings. In essence, I try my best to recreate the game in the thread for people who arent watching the stream, or those who read the thread afterwards.
Only one person has objected to this method I use, which would be you. And to be frank, it doesnt seem like you have been around to read many others' reports, considering your account creation date unless you suddenly opened an account after years of lurking the forums.
edit: If an experienced reporter such as Mani, Uhjoo, or Day feels that my approach is inherently flawed, then I will surely listen to their advice. However I do not feel obligated to cater to one person's needs so that they can find the "results" that will be posted in news, the op post, or separate thread within 12 hours. And as you can see, within 10 hours of your post, rinizim has updated the op post with all the results you could be hoping to look for. What you are looking for within this thread, i.e. information and results, is not purpose which live reports are meant to serve.

i was never a active forum member, after a long break i created a account again to check in on stuff. Ive checked on Tl.net since 03' tho.
anyway, if you want to capture the feel of the game according to me.. Then the type of comments you made does not fit into that category. Id say its better to collect information over a longer period of time and sum it up in a decently well written way, every 3-4 minutes. 2 some what disconnected messages per minute does not really do it imho. You dont describe the overall game situation enough so the info you give just look really empty.

he was practice partner for Pantech for sometime before he became pro. NaDa acknowledges that he helped practice for TvT in OSL, which is quite something. NaDa himself, for preparation in OSL semifinals, comes to you for practice.
it's like how oov handpicked Canata for when he was preparing for OSL final vs BoxeR [Ever 2004].
however, since pantech is being dismantled, I don't know if any team will want to have sun. Probably will, little kid good for marketing.

I have to agree with haji. I was here for a lot of it, and during the reporting the 'quick hits' style is most effective I think, though probablly a bit more tiresome for haji. And as for the parts I missed live, the short posts are way better than when a bunch of things get combined into one. As haji stated, the flow is much better with many small posts each containing only one or two details, it gives a timeframe of action and it allows you to speculate between actions.

ah I found the exact type of post that I want to avoid making.

Hm actually, this is something I will take to heart. I sometimes definitley felt that I wasnt describing the situation well enough, especially with regards to position on the map where things were happening. I'll probably try reading some of Day's reports to see how he likes to describe things (but it's hard since days' a much better player than me. I try specifically not to give strategical insight b/c I very often will be wrong about things along the lines of "this will do better than that b/c of this reason")
