Freedom and Rainbow(different from SKt1 player) were the two players in war3 who consistently had 400 apm throughout every game, so I'm not surprised too much that he has found success now. And it's not like he's had a meteoric rise. It's been like 2 years since he made the switch, and he's failed at prelims several time before
